Not perfect but good enough for me

  • Excerpt: "The Christmas before last I couldn't really think of anything in particular that I really wanted, so whenever anyone asked me what I wanted as a gift I'd just tell them to get me something that they thought I would like. I got heaps of lovely surprises that year, including this pair of headphones which I didn't like at first but now I use them as my main headphones. I use them with my iPod, iPad, iPhone and laptop and they plug in to each of these ...
  • Pros: Good sound, comfortable
  • Cons: Tinny sound when the volume is high

Just a bit too average for the price you're paying

  • Excerpt: Had these about a year now. Quality>>> The build quality of these is fine, obviously for the price you come to expect the lesser quality of materials, but overall don't look that bad. The actual design of the headphones isn't bad, like the other review possess the red and black ones which look quite smart. In terms of sound quality, they offer quite a loud sound, but nothing much on the quality front.

  • Excerpt: Introduction I have just reviewed a pair of headphone from the top end of the market from the Dr Dre beats range. These ones are at the lower end of the market. They are the Philips SBCHP400 dj style headphones. I actually got these for less than £15 quite a while ago and the rrp is less than £25. They are made by Phillips who are a well known and respected brand when it comes to electronics. Appearance The headphones have a quite stylish design.

  • Excerpt: it is 6 months, I had bought for my teen I myself an AKG K501 (not the same budget € 165) and another set of headphones as well a range Sony MDR V-150 (see criticism of it too) I did not have too many illusions about the price of a headphone, I'm more accustomed to high-end headphones, but it's interesting to see wh...

  • Excerpt: Bought yesterday, "off" today. It was indeed some time I was looking for a headset not swing too much for portable use, and the Philips SBC HP400 had caught the eye for its features and price. I do not doubt would do this choice because the link between the earpiece and the headband broke on first use, in the absenc...

  • Excerpt: A headphone that I kept six months before I got to fly it. His biggest default is to be weak in the joints can carefully to the people. (I have not had a problem, but I offered the same to a person who broke fairly quickly). I have tried many headphones in this price before falling on it, and is the only entry-level headset that ...

Good headphones for home use, not for outdoors

  • Excerpt: "Bought these as I was looking for a cheap pair of over-ear headphones with a long cable and a 1/4inch jack for use with an amplifier. Most headphones I saw had short cables (5 foot or less) or had just 35mm (mini) jacks. These headphones have a 2 metre (nearly 7 foot) cable and comes in 35mm jack, with a 1/4inch converter. You can find these headphones for £16 from Amazon. In the box: Headphones, 35mm to 1/4inch jack converter, and strangely no ...
  • Pros: Cheap Price, Nice styling, Jack Converter, Good enough sound
  • Cons: No noise isolation, plastic casing, tangle prone cable, fall off alot
