Summary: The Philips M1 has the most treble rolloff of any headphone I've owned. Compared to the Shure 1840 which isn't bright, the M1 is down about 12 db at 7 khz and 16 db at 10 khz. The construction or build is comparable to an average $100 headphone, and this sound and build quality are very different from the Philips L1 headphone which is excellent. Portability is excellent, and isolation and leakage are excellent.
It would be a half-decent headset if the bluetooth ever worked!

Summary: I never managed to get the bluetooth working, the headset is detected but it never connects. I can't find any advice to resolve this anywhere. The sound is good but not brilliant. It is crisp and clear, but lacks the high tones a bit. But as a wired headset the lead is far too short (about 1.5 m). I bought this because of Philip's reputation and the good reviews on the internet. As a pair of wired headset, it definately is not worth the asking price.
Summary: After a week of usage I've returned them and here is why: - Primarily volume adjustment nob was fiddly and break after a week of normal usage - Headphone starting to be uncomfortable after about 40 min of wearing them - They did not show correct charge level on my iPhone On the plus side Very good audio quality, the best so far in bluetooth headphones Would I recommend this to friends? Definitely will NOT. For the current price you can find more decent pair of cans.
Summary: I was expecting great things from these earphones, but was disappointed. The sound was good but not so much better than much cheaper headphones. They are turned on by pressing the right hand earpiece, which means that when put in a bag and accidentally knocked or bumped or something leans against them they wil turn on.
Summary: I ordered one to compare with my Bose AE2W, and the headphones sound is good and build quality is a lot better than Bose, but really uncomfortable to wear even just for 10 mins, don't know if I have big head or what, the headphones sit on my head or basically clamp my head, really tight and crashing my ears. I actually feel the pain when I remove the headphones due to ears been clamped so hard.
Summary: I wish I had never bought this product. I actually bought it from an airport duty free shop for around 140 pounds and counted on that Philips makes good products without charging additionally the brand. Well, the sound produced is not worth such an expensive pair of headphones. Apart from that, I now read on other reviews that I should change the cable in order to avoid sound distortion while using a PC. Why isn't this documented with the headphones?
