Summary: As a producer/beatmaker, I've enjoyed these headphones inside and out. For five years these have kept me company. Shortly after the ear cup deterioration I decided it was time get some new ones. The treble can be piercing sometimes, the bass (to me) was perfect, excellent mids and lows. If your into music with a lot of texture or ambience these yield even better results, giving you crystal clear sound and stability during high points of a piece.
Summary: I bought these back in the summer of 2010 and I they have worked exactly like they should. I haven't had a problem with them other than the fact that they're a little bulky. The sound quality on them is amazing (a lot better than just your average computer speaker). Also they work very well to cancel out noise even though that isn't one of the specified features. They have lived up to my expectations and exceeded them.
Summary: I've had these headphones for a little over a year. They are great for watching movies on a portable device as they can be worn for hours at a time in comfort. They are light weight and do not put much pressure on your head or ears. They provide a minimum amount of sound isolation. So you are going to hear things around you. But still better than earbuds or over the ear headphones. The quality of the sound is decent. The Highs are good. Crisp and not too bright.
Excerpt: Bought these several years ago. Their appearance originally caught my eye, then I tried them out and found them to be more than acceptable for casual listening with my iPod. Sound signature is on the warmer side, good bass without being overbearing. Recommended, especially for the price, and...
Summary: Checked out some review pages and saw these being compared to over-ear headphones of a lot higher price range.. and I have to agree. Great sound, very capable, very comfortable. I don't recommend them for use with a weak (small battery) type ipod (shuffle, nano) as the weaker battery seems to cause distortion when the speakers pull power. Overall a great find and great price.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Exceeded expectations, Easy to use, colours!
Summary: I LOVE music, but have never had an "Ok" pair of headphones. So I about a year ago I spent a few days looking for the best inexpensive pair I could afford.
I read hundreds of reviews and finally came up with two to chose from: The Panasonic RP-HTX7 and the Koss PortaPro.
As they are different, I decided to get both pairs from bhphotovideo (both for good prices and still might be).
Summary: I used to own Bose Triport around the ear headphones, which I loved in terms of their sound quality and comfort, but they broke after about a year due to their flimsy construction. I really wanted to replace them with another pair, but I just couldn't bring myself to spend so much money on the same thing twice, given how extremely overpriced it was in the first place.
Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Value, Great Sound, Stylish
