  • Excerpt: Overall rating is an average based on my objective vs personal stances. Objectively the headphones sound great, they're lightweight, have multiple adjustment points for proper fitting, the materials make a stable construction, and you just can't beat that price.

Disappointed

Paul B., Newegg
23 January 2014
  • Summary: NewEgg rocks!
  • Pros: Looks structurally sound. Half price. Nicely packaged.
  • Cons: To my ears, the bass is very muddy. Very poor definition in the lower ranges. Otherwise, reasonably OK sound reproduction. These 'phones exhibit flat sound reproduction. Not noticeably loud - or quiet - in any portion of the spectrum. Passable fidelity in mid- and hi- ranges. But man, that muddy ...

Richard H., Newegg
22 August 2013
  • Summary: As for the interior ear space, I find these a bit cramped inside. There is a plastic ridge at the very top, which makes the space there between the plastic and the ear pads smaller at that point. It rubs the tops of my ears, and is a bit annoying. Don't know if I'll return them yet or not.
  • Pros: Excellent sound for the price point. Does an OK job at blocking out exterior sound, but not excellent.
  • Cons: Interior ear space. Heat buildup inside ear cups. Not as padded headband as I would have liked.

Excellent Style, Small Ear Cups

Dave, B&H Photo
18 May 2013
  • Excerpt: I was excited about these headphones but once I received them and put them on they were a bit to small for my ears. They were more on ear than over the ear for me. I also didn't like the 4 foot cord, I am 6'2" and the cord was just barely able to go from the headphones to my iPhone in my pocket.
  • Pros: Good Value, Great Sound, Lightweight, Stylish
  • Cons: Cord Too Short, Medium Ear Cups, Uncomfortable

A bargain buy

Gabe the Editor, B&H Photo
3 January 2013
  • Excerpt: The sound quality is pretty good for the cost. I use it mostly at home for editing. When I wear it too long though it begins to feel a little uncomfortable around my ears. I like that its cord is shorter than most other around the ear headphones, makes it pretty easy to go out and about with them.
  • Pros: Good Value
  • Cons: Uncomfortable

Comfort vs. Sound

Dane S., Newegg
10 December 2012
  • Pros: Attractive design Comfortable to wear, unless you have large ears Flexible and durable Decent sound quality If you are looking for headphones for watching movies, playing games or other long-term usage then these are great! Comfortable for long periods of time (I've had them on for up to 4 hours ...
  • Cons: Given the impressive frequency range and decent decible sensitivity I expected great sound quality out of these, especially in the lower registers (Low point @ 7 Hz). Instead I felt the bass was significantly dulled or muted and the higher register wasn't clear enough to redeem them. Let it be kn...

Comfortable but they slip a little

KellyG, B&H Photo
18 February 2012
  • Excerpt: These are comfortable. They also block out quite a bit of sound. I walked into the store looking for noise cancelling phones but got these instead. The only complaint I have is that they slip off your ears. It's a bit annoying and I haven't decided yet if they are worth keeping because of this.
  • Pros: Durable, Stylish
  • Cons: Falls Off/Out Of Ear

Amazing sound! But...

Bilal R., Newegg
7 December 2011
  • Pros: The sound is AMAZING. Extremely comfortable. The over the ear style cups are amazing for long listening sessions and sometimes gaming sessions.
  • Cons: These headphones last maximum 3 weeks. I've never had a pair that's lasted for any longer than 3 weeks. The problem is not that the product is faulty just poorly designed in some sense. The male connection end of the headphones is really big, and it juts out and isn't flexible at all. A couple of...
