Excerpt: Overall rating is an average based on my objective vs personal stances. Objectively the headphones sound great, they're lightweight, have multiple adjustment points for proper fitting, the materials make a stable construction, and you just can't beat that price. Personally though, if I could redo the purchase, I wouldn't buy these headphones for myself because: 1) the earpieces are small and meant for children/teens or adults with small ears of which I am neither so my...
Pros: Durable, Good Value, Great Sound, Lightweight, Stylish
Excerpt: I was excited about these headphones but once I received them and put them on they were a bit to small for my ears. They were more on ear than over the ear for me. I also didn't like the 4 foot cord, I am 6'2" and the cord was just barely able to go from the headphones to my iPhone in my pocket.
Pros: Good Value, Great Sound, Lightweight, Stylish
Cons: Cord Too Short, Medium Ear Cups, Uncomfortable
Excerpt: The sound quality is pretty good for the cost. I use it mostly at home for editing. When I wear it too long though it begins to feel a little uncomfortable around my ears. I like that its cord is shorter than most other around the ear headphones, makes it pretty easy to go out and about with them.
Excerpt: These are comfortable. They also block out quite a bit of sound. I walked into the store looking for noise cancelling phones but got these instead. The only complaint I have is that they slip off your ears. It's a bit annoying and I haven't decided yet if they are worth keeping because of this. The metal adjustable arms just don't keep the cushion situated in one place while you wear them.
Excerpt: its pretty light and comfy but was kind of disappointed with the bass, it wasn't as great as i thought it'd be. And the sound seems to be louder hearing from the outside than in. Overall, its affordable for a comfy overhead headphones. Just decent enough for [$].
Excerpt: Cable is lightweight - I prefer a thicker cable. Cable is just long enough to reach a device clipped to a waistband without a lot of extra flopping and tangling. Sound quality is good, for this price range. Comfortable cups, press on the head rather than on the ear - blocks a good amount of ambient sound. Nicely quiets down the ride on public transportation. Don't let the picture scare you - they're big, but not too heavy.
Summary: So, sound quality first. If you like the porta-pros you will like these. They have a similar sound and that notorious booming bass impact that the PP's give you. The extension is a little better than the porta-pros, and is actually pretty impressive. I guarantee that you will hear deep deep tones that you were missing out on with other headphones. The impact is all there too.
