Excerpt: Overall rating is an average based on my objective vs personal stances. Objectively the headphones sound great, they're lightweight, have multiple adjustment points for proper fitting, the materials make a stable construction, and you just can't beat that price. Personally though, if I could redo the purchase, I wouldn't buy these headphones for myself because: 1) the earpieces are small and meant for children/teens or adults with small ears of which I am neither so my...
Pros: Durable, Good Value, Great Sound, Lightweight, Stylish
Excerpt: These are great headphones for the price. Sturdy and comfortable to wear. I'm no audio expert but sound is good enough to me that I can just simply enjoy the music without finding myself complaining that the sound could be better this way or that way. So if you don't want to get caught up in the endless quest for the best sounding headphone and just get on with your life, I'd say get a pair of these.
Summary: I got these headphones for Christmas. The speakers on my computer are very quiet. Its now May and I have been so impressed!! I can't wear the headphones that go inside your ears. They hurt and don't really fit (small ears I guess) but these headphones are comfortable, easily adjusted for a perfect fit, and I can turn the volume to computer down almost all the way and still hear my computer loud and clear! I'm using them to watch some hulu now..
Summary: I got these as a Christmas gift about 3 years ago and they have been my best friend all through college when studying they are amazing. They fit great and are comfortable even after many hours of wearing them. The only bad thing I can say about them is that now the leather like fabric on the padding is falling off and I don't really know how to fix that.
Pros: Inexpensive, Easy to use, Durable, Convenient
Summary: These headphones do not come with a beige/soft white headband. They are black! Don't be fooled by the photo. I wanted ones with a soft white headband, so I bought these. When I received them I was disappointed to see that they are not soft white.
Excerpt: Very pleased with the Panasonic RP-HTX7. I ran across a recommendation for these headphone in review of the best headphones under $100 and was intrigued that the price was closer to the bottom that the top. I found a pair with the black covers at Adorama for under $30. I was looking specifically for a high-efficiency unit to use with my MP3 player and the Panasonics fit the bill. I like a right-angle plug for my headphones so a bought a right-angle adapter.
Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Good Value, Lightweight
Summary: Over-the-ears fit is very comfortable and provides great external noise blocking. It does not have active noise cancellation, but I didn't need it in my particular environment. High fidelity sound for classical music. It was a great buy!
Cons: To my ears, the bass is very muddy. Very poor definition in the lower ranges. Otherwise, reasonably OK sound reproduction. These 'phones exhibit flat sound reproduction. Not noticeably loud - or quiet - in any portion of the spectrum. Passable fidelity in mid- and hi- ranges. But man, that muddy bass gets me.
