Proven Reliability, Now in 50mm.

John G., Newegg
17 February 2015
  • Summary: I have used Panasonic RP-HT260 headphones since before "fashion" headsets were a thing. Those brands don't even compare. Those headphones have served me faithfully (and still do) through years of constant use, typically 6 or more hours per day.
  • Pros: Broad frequency response on these units gives the drivers flatter response over the entire audible range, which allows for better audio output quality. Higher input sensitivity for the drivers allow for higher output volume at lower volume input levels, further improving audio output quality by a...
  • Cons: The joint connecting the headband and speaker arm is held together by a snap in tab which can break from impact shock when dropping the headset from a few feet. Treat your gear with respect and this will never be an issue. Due to the high sensitivity of the 50mm drivers used in these units, it is...

Just what I wanted

ilexbmd, Walmart
14 March 2014
  • Summary: These headphones really do fit over the ear. They cancel out a lot of ambient room noise and sound great. They are comfy to wear for long stretches and have a long cord. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase. These are not shipped by Walmart but they came quickly and were packaged well.

Perfect for the price

TumbleweedX, Walmart
4 June 2013
  • Summary: I cannot believe the sound these cans produce for the price. I wanted a good sounding pair that I could use doing yard work or other activities I wouldn't dare with an expensive pair. I got that and more with these. I did a "burn in" for about 30 hours and they just sound great to me now.

Excellent headphones for little money

garagisti, Walmart
15 April 2013
  • Summary: It is a cheap headphone and make no mistake about it. Cable feels cheap and is dainty. Headband is a little iffy unless you have a small head or xxl. However, if you look past that and actually listen to stuff, you may yet be surprised.

SUPERB!!!

Jarrod S., Newegg
8 January 2013
  • Summary: "Quick Fit" is useless, but the do not interfere with the operation and adjustment. The Ear pieces cause some sweating, but not enough for me to call them a CON. **General note: I am not an audiophile, or a pro audio guy by any stretch of the imagination, I wanted headphones that sounded great, were...
  • Pros: Lightweight, sounds INCREDIBLE, very comfortable for long term wearing (8-10 hrs for work), and they are pretty inexpensive.
  • Cons: the cord is a bit long, but i use mine for my PC, so not really a con....

Computer users?

CAZZIE, Amazon
25 June 2014
  • Summary: Just a small point that nobody seems to have mentioned...I ordered the Panasonic RP-HTF600E-S and received the RP-HTF600. I really needed the headphones to use with my laptop and was disappointed to discover that it seemed that the headphones had a 6.5mm jack plug attached.

Outstanding quality for the outlay...

Cobra, Amazon
9 April 2012
  • Summary: I should point out that I am no audiophile, but I am very particular when it comes to the quality of the products that I buy and I do have particularly attuned tastes when it comes to audio and visual equipment.
