Excerpt: The headpiece, although it adjusts nicely, is just a little too flexible and seems a bit fragile, but I found that the earpieces are very comfortable and can be worn for several hours at a time without ear soreness resulting. I would recommend the RP-HT030 to anyone who is looking for an inexpensive but reliable pair of headphones to use for simple listening tasks.
Summary: I was gifted an unwanted pair of these over 6 years ago and i always thought they sounded really nice but i had no idea they were as reasonably priced as this... OK, the headphones may not be the most luxurious but that said, they are lightweight, durable and comfortable and the sound is easily as good as a pair costing in excess of £100... or would not be far off it in my opinion... and i listen to music all day and night.
Summary: Considering the price of these I wasn't expecting too much but I have been pleasantly suprised. The sound quality is much better than I expected with good bass extension without it being overpowering and clear trebles without becoming shrill. Overall a very pleasing balance with suprising amounts of detail. Not so sure about build quality as they do feel a bit fragile, especially when folding and unfolding them, but no problems so far. Well done Panasonic!
Summary: Over the years I have purchased several of these headphones. They offer terrific sound, superior to many more expensive brands. For sound alone I have found nothing to compare. The one problem I find with these is that they break easier than I would have liked. The ones I am using currently are held together by electrical tape. I think I will buy another set but not use them in bed this time.
Summary: I can't actually believe they still make these! I bought my first pair YEARS AGO! so that I had something a bit more meaty to use with my panasonic MD player. It must be a testament to how good these are that they are still on sale. As an aside... the in-ear headphones that came with my Panasonic SJ-MR200 MD were probably some of the most sensitive (high output vs low input) that I've heard. Anyway, THESE are such good value for money! The cord is a sensible length.
Summary: Ergonomic: Very comfortable, no pressure against the the head, lager foam earpads then average that cover the hole ear. Sound: Clear sound but slightly light (lighter then the 5$ Koss UR5) not for bassjunkies. The standard volume is also quite low. Overall: A good pair of headphones and ok value for the money if you not are a bassjunkie (I'm not).
Summary: I GIVE THE PANASONIC RP-HT030E 10/10 FOR QUALITY. I'VE HAD MINE A FAIR FEW YEARS, I'M ONLY BUYING NEW ONES AS NO ONE CAN RECOVER THE EARPIECE WHERE I LIVE. THESE HEADPHONES ARE GREAT WITH PERSONNAL CD PLAYERS AND DVD PLAYERS COMPUTERS U NAME THEY R GREAT. U CAN HEAR EVERY INSTRUMENT ON UR DISC WITH NO HISSING AND MICHAEL BUBLE' SOUNDS GREAT LADIES.
