Sound cracks, not for acoustics.

Pradnyil Karande, Amazon
7 February 2015
  • Summary: I bought these buds to use with with iPod, Nexus 5 and my Cowon. These sound good in certain cases. But for the mids and the lows, the sounds cracks and it is very irritating in these cases.

No bass to speak off

Nigel Heather, Amazon
3 September 2012
  • Summary: Cheap enough. Build seems fine. Offset earbud design is a little odd but works okay. The biggest problem is that there is no bass whatsoever. I was going to buy some Sennheisers but warned off because they had too much bass - so I went for the Panasonics.

Not good for voices

D. N. Beddard "D. N. Beddard", Amazon
17 July 2012
  • Summary: A few years ago I bought a pair of Panasonic RP-HJE170 earphones and have loved them ever since, but the earbuds have worn out and as a budding audiophile I decided to move up a stage in quality (not least because my beloved 170s are no longer produced).

Fell apart

Hugsi "hugsi", Amazon
4 March 2012
  • Summary: Used product for little over a month before the glue on the ear piece failed. Potentially a defective set? Potentially bad build quality? For some reason the number of reviews has reverted to only two!?...it was previously much more...so I can't tell if anyone else has had this probelm.

Not best than I hope! sorry

Ana de Gomez, Amazon
27 October 2011
