Good Earbuds

Native Photog, B&H Photo

  • Excerpt: Got these to replace uncomfortable ipod earbuds. These fit my ears much better and are softer. The sound quality has a little more depth, too.
  • Pros: Comfortable

Good Bud!

Ismael C., Newegg

  • Pros: Punching Bass and 3 different ear cups come with it. Believe me I've tried to blow them and still working so far. Their my new go to ear buds to buy for now on.
  • Cons: Nada

  • Summary: These are nice sounding buds but needed to be altered due to the extremely small rubber "buds". When I first received them, they sounded very tinny and lacked bass. I pulled the buds off another pair from different plugs and voila! Good price compared to others. Durability is not yet determined. Be wary of the small buds.

FINE, BUT ALWAYS MIX UP RIGHT & LEFT EAR

perochan, B&H Photo
16 October 2013
  • Excerpt: Product comes with exchangeable ear buds for different ear size, but the default one was a little small and leaked audio, so I had to change it to mid-size. Sound is fine, although couldn't tell the "HIGH FIDELITY" that it emphasizes as a product. The only issue I have is the confusion when trying to put them on. the ear buds look similar in design and must ALWAYS look for the "R" or the "L" mark on the back of the ear bud to make sure the correct side is put on.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Stylish
  • Cons: Confusing To Put On

  • Summary: I bought this and the JVC HA-FX40 at around the same price($20 each). I like this for the better behaved highs, overall slight warmth, and what seems like a slightly better build quality. I like the HA-FX40 for its slightly better detail, although its highs are a bit too strong at times. The HJE355 has a very ergonomic shape and I think most people will find that it is very comfortable and fits well.
  • Pros: Slightly warmer sound than the JVC HA-FX40. Has strain reliefs on the buds and a right angle plug which the HA-FX40 lacks.
  • Cons: Perhaps just slightly less detail than the HA-FX40

Great value earphones

samandalinoz, Amazon

  • Summary: My wife bought me a set of these last year and I used them every day and they were hanging out of my pocket when I closes the door on one of the earpieces. She paid twice as much as I spent when I replaced them. One thing I would say is that the bass seems far better on this set than my previous set but that didn't stop me buying them again.

Excellent.

AVLaughton, Amazon

  • Summary: For the price, these headphones are remarkable. They are certainly comfortable, the sound quality is excellent, superb bass, and although the wires do look rather thin, they are certainly value for money. They are a replacement for some very expensive Panasonic headphones which I have lost but were beginning to malfunction - the wire was not always making full contact with the jack plug.

terrible

BadMonkeyFinger, Amazon

  • Summary: I purchased these phones online through amazon, believing that since they were the upgraded version of the 350k, they would perform even better! No such luck! This 'updated model' is awful. Flat, shrill, no bass, the earbuds don't stay in my ears no matter what size is used and because of the loose seal, sound quality really suffers. Earlier, I put up a positive review on this 355 model, however, that review was based on the 350 model.

These are made for bass? I don't think so....

Mr. T. Wenn, Amazon

  • Summary: I don't know how these got 5*, they are shockingly bad. I mean the sound is ok, but considering these are made especially or bass driven sound, they are terrible. I wouldn't pay more than £5 for these, I haven't owned headphones that perform this badly, and I only buy cheap phones.
