Junk for me

kuno-kolunu, Ebay
3 November 2014
  • Summary: I bought this headset to replace my broken headset. I could not hear very well with this HS nor could the person I was talking to hear me very good. A lot of hissing and crackling noises. I also bought a different headset at the same time for a lot less and is working just fine. I would not buy another one like this one.

Decent Headset, Great Price

Rob H., Newegg
22 October 2012
  • Summary: Have used for about 5 months with no problems. Just ordered another one for a different user. Price is right to have a spare. It says right on the description that it is a 2.5mm jack and common sense says it doesn't have any adapters like RJ6 for Cisco phones or anything else. Do your homework and know what your phone needs before ordering.
  • Pros: Have used in a production environment. Mic works well. Plugs right into Panasonic KX-133 panasonic phone. Can hear callers well.
  • Cons: Mic is a bit hot, as sometimes callers can hear room noise / talking going on.

missing required adapter

Douglas H., Newegg
11 March 2008
  • Summary: If you have a phone that will accept a 2.5 mm plug, then this headset should work for you.
  • Pros: Good price - - IF it included the adapter.
  • Cons: The OVERVIEW says: "The 2.5mm jack connects the headset to any phone." A regular land line phone does not have a 2.5 mm receiver to put the plug into it. Headsets typically plug to the telephone line (RJ11 connector) or to telephone handset jack (RJ8) through a headset adapter/amplifier module. This headset does not have the required adapter.

Panasonic KX-TCA98 Hands-Free Headset

rlahurd, PriceGrabber
6 March 2008
  • Summary: As a professional who works at home three days per week, I conduct many conference calls and have tried three other hands-free phone devices. This Panasonic is the best by far, mainly because other callers can clearly hear my voice via the microphone wand. I also appreciate the convenience of the volume control and mute button.
  • Pros: Excellent sound quality; volume control and mute button
  • Cons: none

Panasonic KX-TCA98 Headset

IbarraYJ, PriceGrabber
7 December 2007
  • Summary: This is my second Panasonic headset and I've been pleased with both of them. My first one gave out after about five years, the headband snapped in half. I'm always using my headset when I'm on the phone with customer support. Its great for those times when you've been put on hold for like 30 mins and don't have the phone stuck to the side of your head with, with a neck cramp.
  • Pros: Loud & Clear!! You have the option of either hanging the earpiece over the back of your ear or you can connect it to the headband. You can control the volume and even mute the mic from the remote.
  • Cons: The headset could have been made a little more sturdy.

  • Summary: I love this headset. It works great with practicall any phone. It's great for those who work from home or just hate carrying a phone around stuck to your ear.
  • Pros: Noise Cancelling, not big and bulky, the fact that you can detach the head portion and just use the actual earpiece.
  • Cons: So far it has worked perfect for me. Haven't noticed any weakness.

  • Summary: - there should be a sponge on non-speaker side - the head band should have the flexibility for different people - the overall product feels a little cheap - it does very well what it is supposed to do!!
  • Pros: - very good sound quality for user - does not pickup background noise like speaker phones - convenient to talk on the phone and work on computer - very good sound quality for other party - volume
  • Cons: - when used for long periods of time, can hurt a little
