Big on Feature, Low on Performance

Tennessee Engineer, Radioshack

  • Excerpt: Unit had very limited range from transmitter. Unit kept switching to Radio unless you were close to the transmitter and turned just right. Monitor mode was virtually worthless. The radio worked fairly well but there was little control for tuning.
  • Pros: Added features
  • Cons: Difficult To Use, Poor Sound Quality

Poor sound quality!

Sue, Radioshack

  • Excerpt: These were purchased for use with a TV at a nursing home. My husband needs more volume than these provide. Even with TV and headphones at highest volume it is not really loud enough. My husband also complains about glitches in the sound. We are very dissatisfied and may be returning product.

  • Summary: Horrible construction, they seem to be made from very, very low-grade materials. And overly complicated to get working! Not to mention, it's all a guessing game since they don't even include the simplest instructions on setting them up!

  • Summary: I was disappointed in this product. It looks & feels to be made of cheap quality plastic. The "Monitoring" function has a lot of feedback & the "Wireless Headphone" function is not compatible with my new TV. This is just an example of Momma said you get what you pay for.

  • Summary: The wireless headphones did not come with any instructions to set it up with. The head set looks like a good quality product, but you have to be able to set it up. It came with 3 different types of hook ups, the color codes do not correspond with my TV. So I will not be able to get to use it.

  • Summary: This product did not work for wireless hook up from Television, but would play radio if you do not mind constantly turning your head to get reception.

  • Summary: Too many options for listening. Not sure what to pick for TV. Unable to plug into TV right now as no open jacks. However, when I put the batteries in it, it didn't appear to come on. It was difficult to get the batteries to fit in the tower.
