A bit heavy for a handpiece, but retro/modern in design

M. Luke, Amazon
18 December 2011
  • Summary: OK, I am not a fashion guru, nor do I profess any interior design expertise, however, there is something nifty about the way this handset looks. You can dock (old iPhone connector) to this phone and then use the handset. It seems to be in tune with some of 1960s furniture pieces that I have seen (none of which I have). The handset is trading the iphone's slim handheld to a heftier hand piece. Retro in design and functionality, but modern in technology.

Not as useful as one would hope ...

RNS, Amazon
18 December 2011
  • Summary: I was excited to receive the Native Union Authentic MM03I-BLK-ST Limited Edition Curve Bluetooth Wireless Handset and Weighted Base and iPhone Dock for iPhone/Blackberry and Smartphones for my son to use with his iPhone. I thought he would think it was cool but he was not impressed. While the phone and docking station look very sleek if your iPhone has a case (as most do) it will not charge in the docking station unless you take it out. Just not worth the money.

Easy to set up and use, even for a "tech dunce" like me

Stacey Dawn Brody, Amazon
18 December 2011
  • Summary: I am a forty-five year old person, and have not used a cellphone all my life obviously. Nor am I a tech geek. Additionally, I have a strange aversion to reading instructions/directions. I am sure in a few years, nobody will even remember telephone receivers/handpieces, but I grew up using one and it is still very comfortable and familiar to me; speaking into the air and trusting your voice will carry to a cellphone speaker still just doesn't feel natural, hence my love...

BEWARE: does not last -- very cool looking BRICK!!

Mahlers2nd, Amazon
18 December 2011
  • Summary: Update: After only having this device a couple of months, it all of a sudden became a very cool looking BRICK. Nothing charges -- the handset does not charge, the iPhone while docked does not charge... it is dead as the proverbial doornail. Unfortunately, it will wind up in a landfill and therefore WORSE than the doornail since it will take up much more space not to mention the potential toxicity of the internal piece parts of the unit.

Initial problems with defective handset on IOS 5.1.1; but company replaced

C Scott, Amazon
18 December 2011
  • Summary: I originally bought this device when I had an iPhone 4 on IOS 5.0.1 and I was pretty happy with it. Sound quality is good, but not great, but it is a great and comfortable design if you are a 'talker'. The problems came when I got a new iPhone 4S on IOS 5.1.1. This phone which was easy to pair with my old phone would not pair with my new 4S. Frustrated, I tried to pair it with a couple friends iPhones (some 4 some 4S, all on IOS 5.1.1.

READ THIS if you are tech-savvy or an iPhone "power" user!

TRL, Amazon
18 December 2011
  • Summary: I must admit I'm on day 2 with this product so I might update this later, but I'm a fast tech adapter and think these comments will hold valid. If you use your iPhone a lot or "Power Use" it (that is, you have multi-apps running most times or just like to move quickly between phone, e-mail and text, for example) this review is for you.

Perfect for the office

Brian J. Ward, Amazon
18 December 2011
  • Summary: I use my iPhone 4 as my business line and it's a pain in the butt to use it as a handset all day. I don't like ear pieces or headphones, I like a real phone. As such, this is perfect for me. Feels and sounds like an office land line but the bluetooth wireless allows me to pace around while I talk. For me....perfect.

Not happy with it

D. McCormick, Amazon
18 December 2011
  • Summary: I really wanted this handset to work well. It does look beautiful and it feels solid. However, if my iPhone 4 is connected to it via bluetooth, my iphone will not ring and neither will the moshi handset. Also will not make any text alert sounds. I've troubleshooted everywhere I can with no solution. Ringers are on and volumes are up. Annoying because I really wanted to love it. I do have another moshi handset that is not bluetooth, and that one works great.

So Close!

Lindazilla, Amazon
18 December 2011
  • Summary: I really wanted to love this handset. There are many things that are right with this, but there are some important things that are wrong. First of all, the looks is great. Sleek and modern, this is a great item for the office desk. Not only do I always know where my phone is, it lets me charge it when I can get it to sit correctly. Yeah, if you DON'T have a cover on your iPhone and you use the adapter, the phone sits perfectly to charge.

really 3.75 stars

d, Amazon
18 December 2011
  • Summary: When this works, it is pretty slick. I'm using a Verizon iPhone 4 w/ it and am generally pleased. The good: It looks great and the handset feels solid and sounds good. The handset makes a nice thunk when put in the cradle. It has good range--I can carry it upstairs or outside up to 50 feet away from the base and still have a strong signal. Nice. It's pretty tough; I've dropped it several times. Oops.
