NAD VISO Sounds Great!

13 August 2014
  • Summary: NAD's VISO headphones sound great to me. Their "Room Feel" technology really opens up the sounstage image directly in front of you making you feel as though you're listening to live music. Very open and lively.
  • Pros: Open, live-sounding, comfortable, quality build

PSB M4U1 VS NAD HP50 VISO

recordsarebetter, Crutchfield
12 July 2014
  • Summary: I haven't been satisfied with the research of professional and consumer reviews since I was looking to really compare these to the PSB M4U1s... After sending back the PSBs, I took a high chance because I already thought the PSBs were awesome. Still the curiosity of the NADs existed. So far without proper burn-in time, UNBELIEVABLE!! Highs: Similar to M4U1s but a touch less harsh on certain songs.
  • Pros: Sound Quality: 5 Stars and superb, clean, and clear Build Quality: 5 Stars Better than I thought based on review on PSB M4U1s here on Crutchfield Comfort: 5 Stars WAY more light weight than PSB M4U1s Noise Reduction: 4 Stars Just because... Compared to a mainstream brand
  • Cons: Coolness Factor: 2 Stars for looking dorky at moments. Still, I like the looks personally! - 5 Stars for the short cable. Needs a cable extension.

User Review

supahdrummahman, head-fi.org
26 February 2014
  • Summary: When I first fired these babies off (the song was Bohemian Rhapsody) I couldn't believe it. These cans provide such a clean and open sound its like the artist is in the room with you. The amount of musical easter eggs you will pick up is insane, you can hear the drummer's metronome on Revolution by The Beatles. The highs are nice and crisp, the mids are great, and the lows are nice and clean with a little punch.
  • Pros: Great mids, crisp highs, deep lows, very comfortable, well built
  • Cons: short cable, after 2 or 3 hours
