Nice sound terrible control quality
6 October 2012
Excerpt: Very good sound, but the control quality is terrible. When I'm cycling or running the control takes up airflow and this makes my music playing intermittent. I cleaned my control button with contact spray and now it doesn't work anymore. So how would it be when you wash it as stated in the manual!!!
Pros: Comfortable, Good Bass, Great Sound, Stylish
Summary: I had powerbeats that sadly died within a month. So after searching amazon, i found these. Both are made by monster so I figured these would be similar. Boy was i mistaken. First, the sound is ok. Unless you get it in your ear at the right angle, they don't sound good at all. Getting it in my ear at the right angle and getting it to stay there is a challenge. While running, they keep slipping out so I've been wrapping the cord around my ear.
What are the chances these could fit in most ears perfectly to be worth the cost.

Summary: I'm so glad I bought these at a local store because it made it so easy to return them. They didn't fit my ears properly. I followed the instructions on how to chose the correct adapters for my ear size/shape. I first found the correct size for the speaker part (2nd smallest). Then I attempted to find the correct ear lobe hook size. Only the extra small fit and it was still too big.
Summary: I had high hopes for these earphones. I will say, the sound quality was excellent. That being said, after about 45 minutes of use they hurt my ears - not volume but fit. I tried each of the buds and hooks but the pain was unbearable. Sadly I'm returning them.
Summary: I have been using the Klipsch S4i for the last 6 months and its been for running only. I know that these were not waterproof or sweatproof, but they seemed to survive pretty well and the sound quality was great. Good highs, mid and love the full bass!!! But, the control/mic stopped working and I needed to replace them. So, I bought these based on reviews etc. Let me tell you the music sound quality sucks!!! Its tinny, thin and has no bass what so ever!
Summary: I had a pair of Dr. Dre beats w/inline mic & device control, lost them and decided to try another, the Monster iSport Athletes Immersion Headphones. The mic/control worked fine. Conversation on the iPhone was clear and concise. They stayed in my ear & come with multiple removable cushions for all ear type. I love the flat wire design. I also love good sounding music, but these sounded tinny like a $20 unit. There is zero bass response.
Summary: really wanted to like these. Okay sound (def not what I expected) and a bit uncomfortable. For now I'll stick with my Bose IE2; not perfect but best so far. Used a pair all last year for Ironman training without problems. Always in search of that "perfect" pair for long-distance running... this was def not it for me.
Summary: First off let me say that the sound quality of these are excellent! Monster did a great job engineering a great sounding ear bud. Unfortunately, that's where my good experience ended. I tried every single bud and ear clip that came with these iSport headphones (5 sizes to be exact XS to XL), but could not get a comfortable fit at all. If I wore these buds without the clips, it actually was a great fitting and sounding headphone.
