Summary: I paid over S100.00 for these head phones at Christmas. Within 4 months they snapped in half rendering them useless. While I did enjoy them during the four months they worked, I now feel the quality of the product is in question. I especially feel this way after seeing the many other reviews that are consistent with my own. Luckily my headphones are still under warranty so I am able to have them replaced.
Summary: I love the sound of these - I just wish they would last. I could understand flimsy design of a headband from a cheaper brand. It's just such a pity they did a good job with the music but not on the design. Warranty service was good the first time around - they replaced them without a problem. The replacement pair I got broke in *exactly* the same spot as the first. I wouldn't spend this much money on a product that won't last.
Summary: I bought for my son, 14 months ago for his Christmas gift. Just the other day, when he was widening the headphones to put over his head, the head band cracked. The design is poor because they've attached their "monster" and "n-tune" metal logos on the inside of the band. If you try to open the headphones, just with regular force over time, the metal logo might cut into the plastic and cause a crack, just like it did on my son's headphone.
Summary: last year I purchased beats on the Wal-Mart availability guarantee, next day I tested a pair of Monster Ncredibles N-tunes in the store. so I waited until I got the beats in the mail, and tested both pair. I returned the beats same day because the just didn't compare to the superior sound of the Monster incredibles.
