Monster N-Tune On-Ear Headphones Offer Bright Colors and Plenty of Bass

Gear Diary
18 February 2014
  • Excerpt: If you are looking for a pair of headphones with plenty of bass, bright colors and the Monster name, AND you want something for under $150, you’ll want to check out the Monster N-Tune On-Ear Headphones .
  • Pros: Available in a range of colors; Tough!; Offer style the younger crowd will love; Booming bass that will keep you moving; Music share and the ability to connect cable to either ear cup
  • Cons: I found them a bit tight and, as a result, uncomfortable after a time; Tuned for people who love bass

  • Summary: So, first off, I saw these on sale in Target for around $40 so they were an impulse buy. I think they originally retailed for a lot more, but I'm guessing you can get as good (if not better) quality on-ear headphones for the $150 asking price. But, heck, for $40 they were worth a shot.
  • Pros: Good sound; bass-heavy but not too imposing; comfortable, in-line mic, thick cord
  • Cons: Not attractive; stick out way too far and look "blingy"

Monster NCredible NTune On-Ear Headphones review

The Gadgeteer
21 December 2012
  • Conclusion: With the right music, the Monster NCredible NTune headphones are clear and bright with no distortion and have a booming bottom end. With vocal music, rock, or pop music, you may find the bass overpowers the rest of the song.
  • Pros: With dance, Salsa, and rap music, the sound is clear and thumping, Comfortable band and ear cushions, Adjustable band, Bass is emphasized, which works well with certain styles of music
  • Cons: No storage bag, ControlTalk button didn't work with my iPhone 5, Bass is emphasized, often at the expense of the other frequencies for some styles of music

Review: Monster NCredible NTune headphones

Gadget Guy
9 December 2014
  • Excerpt: Monster’s NCredible NTune headphones make a bold claim of “headphones with attitude,” but is it the right sort of attitude for your tracks, or would you be better off buying headphones with personality, instead?
  • Pros: Bassy, Replaceable cable uses the standard 3.5mm jack, Music can be shared with other headphones
  • Cons: Uncomfortable, Ugly and more bulbous than you expect, Construction feels cheap, Can't fold up
