THE BEST In-Ear Headphones, EVER!
6 October 2012
Excerpt: I use my Miles Davis Tributes to Mix/Master Trance sets, listen to various styles of EDM, plus Classical, Jazz, Opera & Choir. The frequency response (once you find the correct tips for your ear canals, & i can't stress the importance of this step for driver placement / overall acoustic response!!) is the best in-ear experience I have ever had. Solid surprising Bass!! Crystal Highs, Crisp Mids. These outperform many of my other headphones, inc.
Pros: Frequency Response, Great Sound, Silicon Tips, Stereo Accuracy
Excerpt: I have heard pretty all IEMs, and I can say that these are one of the best sounding IEMs out there. Base sounds rich and realistic, and the high notes don't sound at all coloured. All around these perform very well for just about any kind of music without colouring the sound. Evenly balanced. I highly recommend using these IEMs with uncompressed audio files only, as MP3s are lossy and are missing quite a bit of depth.
Very nice earphone. a Audio Enthusiast, Audio Review

Summary: I will comment only on the the earbuds themselves. They are very nice and clean sounding. There base is there when you need it and very composed. I own Klipsch X10 and Shure 535s. I would say that these fall right inbetween both those models. The Klipsch are a joy to wear and listen to. Great base and midrange. The shures are very clear but are tight at lighter in the base. The miles Davis just sound so darn nice. Everything is right.
Summary: I consider myself an audiophile who has the UE Triple Fi 10 Pro & the Pro Coppers which I felt could not be matched by any other IEM's regardless of cost. Was I wrong. The "you are there" tag is used too often as a way of describing any number of IEM's & perhaps the tag applies in many cases. With The MDT's the soundstage is so incredible I'm taken back by it every time I listen to them, which is everyday.
Summary: Used a lot of head phones. Probably one of the best in ear headphones. Have used the Monster Gold. Far superior to the Golds and class of it's own. I have used Senheisser HD 600 and HD 590 . These Monsters comparable to these high end Senheisers. At the price available it's a steal. Good for all music and not only jazz.
Summary: Super great! The headphone with such quality is ridiculously cheap! I have bought 6 headphones up to now, and none of them fulfills my expectation except this one. I listen music from classical(piano, orchestra) to rock, heavy metal, and they all sound so good in this headphone. Highly recommend for someone who likes music and take it seriously.
Summary: Although I am not too-too picky about the sound that goes to my ears, I can confidently say I have pretty well trained ears when it comes to music. When I listen to music, I pay attention to all the tiny little details the average listener doesn't care to appreciate. With that being said, I must say that the Miles Davis Tributes have redefined for me what kind of sound is possible from tiny in-ear drivers.
Summary: Most extraordinary sound! Always used the latest top-end shure ones before trying these...... but will never go back. You hear every single note whether it is finger picking guitar or sax. It's like being in a life concert performance having the front row seat with the artist right in front of you (but without the ambient noise of others in the audience.....). They mirror the most exquisite sound of TANNOY's definition HIFi range (except not at the $6000 price tag.....
Summary: Monster Miles Davis Tribute Jazz In-Ear Headphones Quality: Quality of the Miles Davis Tribute Earphones are well built, however compared to it's copper counterpart, the wires on the Miles Davis are almost rubbish to begin with.. You pick up every micro phonics, a light brush against the wire and you hear it, a light breeze and you hear it.
