Excerpt: I bought these purely for active use. I had tried many earbuds while running/working out/cycling but all had fallen out or broke their seal in the ear rendering them tinny, without any bass and sounding like those old one ear pieces used with old transistor radios. The Monster iSport Intensity's actually STAY in my ear no matter what, are comfortable and whilst not bass heavy, sound really good and far better than any supplied headphones.
Summary: So while I didn't buy these from Amazon, I did buy them from Walmart. Took them back after one workout. Here is why. I understand that they are not in-ear buds and are supposed to let ambient noise in to let you be more aware of your surroundings. The problem with this is you don't get nearly the sound quality you would expect from a Monster product. Bass is pretty much non existant in these buds.
Very good but not comfortable. comparing to Bose SIE2i Sport Headphones

Summary: First, let me start by saying..I am still very old school. I like brick and mortar stores and like to play with an item before deciding. Since there really wasnt a place i could check this out in person (plus the box doesnt lend itself to open w/out making it a total open box buy) I really did my research and read all the reviews. here is my take.. and please note.. I will be comparing them to the Bose SIE2i Sport Headphones since I also own these (wifes).
Excerpt: I replaced my Isport Immersion in ears with these Intensity ones and they make a big difference when i work-out. i noticed with the Isports when i remove my earphones the eartips would sometimes stay in my ear due to the wax & sweat build up but with the Intensity they don't do that and they stay put during my whole work-out. the sound quality is excellent but i like deep pounding bass and the Intensity could use a little more in that area otherwise no complaints.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Quality Construction, Stays In Ears, Tangle Free Cord
Excerpt: I use my headphones to workout at the gym. The don't fall out no matter what I do, but the airtight fit I was hoping for just isn't there. My old headphones were in ear headphones and they blocked a good amount of outside noise. These headphones are supposed to accomplish the same with the rubber earpiece, but I find that the small fits nice but doesn't block sound. The medium is too big, better noise blocking, but painful after a while.
Summary: Quick Review: These are by far the best running headphones I have come across. If you are looking for a pair of headphones that fit snugly into the ear, and sound pretty good these are for you. Price is a little steep. Longer Review: I have to say I am pleasantly surprised by these headphones, not really being one to stray away from the mainstream companies of sound (Bose, Yamaha, etc.). I caught them on sale at USD 80 which prompted me to snag them.
Summary: My quest for decent sport headphones has ended for the time being. The Monster isport Intensity are a great compromise between cost, usability (staying put), comfort, and sound quality. The sound quality is dramatically better than the yurbud and meelectronics and the price is a happy medium between those and the bose. The in ear design won't interfere with glasses, comfort hasn't been an issue even when wearing for several hours and most importantly they stay put!
