Good sound quality, uncomfortable fit
Summary: I had the beats solo HD for about 10 days. Was using it for almost 2-3 hours daily as part of working out or during work hours on the side. Noticed that after about 30 minutes it would get uncomfortable to wear them so definitely not a great fit. It would get so progressively worse that it would give me a headache after a few more minutes if I pushed through the discomfort.
Summary: I bought the solo beats for travel on the plane and in the airport. The problem that I have is that I can't use them for talking on the phone (I have a Samsung galaxy 3) I can hear the caller but they can't hear me. I thought that maybe I had a bad pair but I exchanged them and the problem was still there. They work fine with some other phones. If I knew that before I bought them I would not have bought them. The sound is just average.
Summary: The first few months they worked great but now the right ear has a buzzing sound and overall the sound on both sides has quieter. I was looking to have these for a long time but after just one year of having them, they have stopped working. Very dissapointed after paying almost 200 dollars for headphones that don't last.
Summary: The side of my speaker fell out within an hours of purchase and i was only sitting around listening to music while the sound quality is great they are very flimsy. I did go return them and get new ones with my Warranty but i was very disappointed that such a highly rated brand could be so flimsy.
Summary: solo hd very normal headphone with normal audio with normal bass that you could find in any other headphone the point is its not only normal sound and bass but also a plastic one and the caution will fall apart from it.
Summary: Recently tried these alongside the Sennheiser HD 598, which are around $20 more, and found the Beats to be extremely lacking in mids and highs with the soundstage less than desirable. The only area I've found the beats to beat the Sennheiser is in the sub bass, even if it is a bit muddy.
Summary: I purchased these headphones in Matte White. I really liked the sound quality, and the bass was right where it should be. After two weeks, I noticed some yellowing issues, on the ear cups and headband. Just yesterday, I adjusted the headband (about five clicks) put it on my head, and the right side snapped... I lost my receipt, and now I have an almost useless pair of headphones.
Summary: The left speaker of the headphones just explode and now the left sounds HORRIBLE and on the right side the stainless steel circle of beats logo came hitted. I buy it on bestbuy an official retailer of beats and i got 1 year limited warranty like one week the headphones last and and i noticed so i go to bestbuy and they dont do nothing so i have the same horrible beats by dre in my house with left speker broken so take this in mind and buy another brand.
