  • Summary: I use these for running and have used them for a half dozen 5 mile runs so far. They do fit very well, but the sound seems very average. I am very surprised, because I thought that they would sound great, and maybe not fit very well, but it is just the opposite. I am thinking maybe ear buds or "over-ear" type must sound a lot better, since these are designed to let in some outside noise for safety. I really didn't think that it would make that much of a difference.

  • Summary: I purchased these headphones and knew immediately something was wrong. The product seemed smudged in places and just didn't appear new. I tried them on and found that I had to change the earpods. The music sounded muffled and very mute but when I turned the volume up the sound was distorted.

Just a fashion statement

  • Summary: When I first received the earphones, I was very impressed with the packaging and looks. The sound quality is average and is a little bit heavy on the bass. I'm an avid runner and cyclist. I use them for running. The only problem I have on a long run is the tendency for the earphones to shift out of place from the ear. I guess this is from my sweat. After 3 months of use, the mic/control stop working.

DO NOT BUY

  • Excerpt: I have had to replace my PowerBeats 4 times in the past 6 months. The music quality is great but the quality of the headphones themselves is another story. I've taken great care of my headphones and they still fall apart. I would not buy the PowerBeats for a friend our myself.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Great Sound
  • Cons: Cord Too Short, Flimsy Construction, Poor Value

Poorly made

Car, pcrichard.com

  • Excerpt: I barely use my Power Beats so I could try to preserve the life of them. I've had them for less than a year and the wire that connects to the iPod has already snapped and does not transmit sound to the hearbuds. I've taken great care of them by always putting them away in their case after a workout, but the quality of the wire is so poor.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Good Bass, Great Sound
  • Cons: Poor Value
