great sounding, not reliable
19 September 2012
Summary: The sound of these earphones is outstanding. The build quality/reliability is unacceptable. My first pair lasted about 3-4 months before the volume control stopped working and the sound cut out completely on one side.
Summary: When I first received the earphones, I was very impressed with the packaging and looks. The sound quality is average and is a little bit heavy on the bass. I'm an avid runner and cyclist. I use them for running.
Summary: I purchased these for us while in the gym, was looking for ear buds that would stay on and in my ears while moving around. These Monster Dre Beats stayed on the ear but not in the ear. I was constantly pushing them back in my ear.
Summary: They sound pretty good but after only a month it looked as if the cord would fray soon....and after only 3 months the earpiece has completely broken. Made like junk for something so expensive. Don't believe the hype.
Summary: I have to say for the cost of these, I find the sound quality quite disappointing. I have a set of Bose earbuds, but I wanted a pair that fit snugly in my ear and woudn't pop out so easily when I run. So I thought I would give the Dr Dres a try.
Summary: These headphones sound pretty good. A little too much base. The Control talk buttons broke on day 2 and I only used them for 5 minutes on day 1. I have search other websites for reviews and a lot of other people have the same problem. Crutchfield was great with the return.
Summary: These may have been designed for athletes, but they're not quite there. I run, and use the gym occasionally. The adjustable ear hooks keep things nicely in place, and the sound is good compared to other sports headphones.
