Excerpt: I used these headphones everyday for traveling back and forth to work and working out. They are great for that and they stay on your ears but I wish they were made better. This is my second pair, yes i have already paid over $300.00 for these headphones and this pair broke also after 3 weeks of use this time. I returned them for a full refund and won't be buying them again until Dre improves on the quality. Both pair just stopped answering my phone.
Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Good Bass, Great Sound, Lightweight, Stylish
Summary: I purchased these headphones and knew immediately something was wrong. The product seemed smudged in places and just didn't appear new. I tried them on and found that I had to change the earpods. The music sounded muffled and very mute but when I turned the volume up the sound was distorted.
Cons: This is the 3rd set I have had, 100% of the time the mic fails , sometimes it's straight out of the box , sometimes mic fails after a couple weeks. Also sound quality is on par with a $29 pair of headphones, no way in the world these are worth $150
Excerpt: After 10 uses the earbuds had a mind of their own. They made my iPhone skip and go to Voice Control constantly! I tested the iPhone with other earbuds and without any earbuds and never had the problem. The on/off button control built in the earbuds started controlling the iPhone on itself, rendering them useless.
Excerpt: I was so excited when I bought these, but they were really just garbage. From the getgo, the mic and volume control didn't work with my Droid or iPad. As time went on, one ear would intermittently cut in and out. Eventually that ear stopped working completely. I took the wire apart to replace the standard mini plug with a new one, but the wire inside is so tiny that it is nearly impossible to even strip the wire.
Excerpt: I used it to listen to music on my HTC One X and only used at home and only a few times and it has only bee one month since I bought it. Guess what, the cable is ripped open and now its effecting the sound quality and the microphone is not working properly either. I sent an email to monster and no reply yet. when you buy an expensive headset at A$[$] you expect it to have bit more quality and better customer support.
Pros: Good msic clarity, Great Sound, Stylish
Cons: Bad build quality, Bad customer service, Flimsy Construction, Poor Value, Uncomfortable
Excerpt: I am a musician and was told that these were worth the money. I have plenty of cheap flea market head phones and expected these to be much better. They are a comfortable fit and the case is nice. Other than that, they are not worth the money. Poor tone quality, poor Bass response, and thin cheap wires, Monster is known for their good quality wires and I doubt this was a Dre design.<br />To make a long story short, These are Not worth the money, DO NOT BUY..
Pros: Comfortable, Stylish
Cons: Flimsy Construction, Poor Sound, Poor Value, Too Much Ambient Noise
Excerpt: I had to return this product twice to [@] within a year of purchasing it for various issues. The wire broke down and functionality was lost. Also the the sound and play and pause functionality stopped working as well. These headphones are extremely overpriced for the poor value. It's also evident in the prior ratings of others that this product should be pulled.
Cons: Cord Too Short, Falls Off/Out Of Ear, Flimsy Construction, Poor Sound, Poor Value
Excerpt: The plug is designed to stand straight out of your device, so it undergoes needless wear -- and so I guess I shouldn't be surprised that after a few months, the cord started to fray. Once that process started, things fell apart quickly. Now, after a year of *light use,* these headphones are unusable -- the damaged cable causes wild volume fluctuations and sends random commands to my iPhone.
