Summary: The sound quality is great, the functionality is as well. although I can say one thing that I dislike about this pair of headphones is it can be too tight on your ears after awhile. Nonetheless I am pleased with this purchase.
Summary: Well I just joined Head-Fi yesterday after spending quite a bit of time on the site, so I thought I'd drop some novice input. My wife knew I wanted some nice cans, after being without any since I was a teenager. As a present, she recently gave me a set of the Beats Mixr model. Not exactly what I would have bought, but these were certainly better than anything else I've owned.
Pros: Good bass overall; can play loud; seems durable; won't disturb your spouse in bed!
Cons: Not as much clarity; on-ear design uncomfortable after long periods; pricey
Summary: If you don't mind the price, but want portability and style just buy them. They sound much better than the Solos, and personally look better.
Pros: ~Stylish ~Great Sound Quality ~Great Build Quality ~Best sound of the Beats line. The metal construction is fantastic, and is very durable. The sound quality has the Beats punch, with heavy bass, though is still great for listening to most music and not just House or Rap. Personally they sound the best of the Beats line for commercial use. And they're probably the most stylish headphones around.
Cons: ~Somewhat small ear cups ~Some noise leakage ~Price The ear cups are circular and very small for "around ear" headphones, though they fit fine on my head. Where these headphones shine in audio quality is where the music cranked-up all the way, and you get noise leakage... sometimes a LOT. The price is extremely high for heaphones because of being "designer brand" headphones.
Excerpt: I use these on my iPhone to listen to dubstep and dance music, as well as rap, these are really loud, and really powerfully, only bad thing,( which can get badd) is there's like no padding on the ear cups, so they hurt even after you break them in, no more than an hour tops of tolerable music listing, though their good with the bass, and crisp highs,
Excerpt: These are great headphones with great sound quality. They are the beat for the money for beats headphones. But I do have one con. It it after about 15 minutes they start to hurt your ears. This happens because they are tight on your head.
