Work as advertised

Summary: Kind of a chintzy set, but what can you expect for the price? If you need a cheap headset that just work this is the one for you. Don't get the offbrand crap, it won't last nearly as long and will be even chintizier.
Summary: Solid option for using on Windows or an Xbox 360. Just be aware that after long-term usage you can expect to have moments where the audio is dropped for a second or two. The older it gets the more frequently you'll experience this.
Pros: -Works well on the Xbox 360 and in Windows (assuming you have the wireless adapter from Microsoft) -Comfortable -Charges quickly over USB -Decent audio quality both ways
Cons: -No simple way to replace the battery -Audio cuts out on occasion after about a year and a half of almost daily use -When the audio momentarily cuts out on Windows, whoever is listening to you will be greeted with a very loud and unpleasant buzzing noise which may test your friendship with the ot...
Summary: This is the headset that comes with the Elite, and it's overall OK. However, its not very durable. If you send it in to microsoft, it takes about a month or two to get back, plus you have to send it yourself with your own box+packing material.
Pros: Cheap By Microsoft Portable Protected wires
Cons: Feels cheap Very fragile Warranty isn't the best
Summary: Was a bit uncomfortable at first but you eventually get used to it.
Pros: Great Sound Quality, Wireless, Holds Charge well
Cons: Cuts out every once and a while. A couple times a night it seems to disconnect then reconnect. Get interference from other devices. I haven't pinpointed what is causing issues but some nights I just can't use it because of the static.
Summary: If you have the money get the wireless one if this breaks.
Pros: Great sound quality, gets the work done and better than having no mic on Xbox Live.
Cons: It is a good mic, but Microsoft made it to fragile. This is the 5th one i have been through, and i don't have the money to pay for the wireless one. So when you buy this beware of it breaking, and try to take good care of it.
Summary: Why, oh why, did they go to the expense of making a Halo 3 Edition headset but not a black one. I'll never understand why Microsoft went to the expense of making many colored remotes but paid no attention whatsoever to corresponding accessories in those colors.
Pros: Device works as advertised. This is rare in the gaming community.
Cons: Not very easy to setup. If you're very familiar with the xBox 360 it shouldn't pose a challenge but if you are new to it, you'll need the manual.
Summary: Bought this and it lasted two months.... I bought this around two and a half years ago and it lasted for two months... i finally had had it with wired headsets so i splurged for a wireless headset and it has changed my life... i am still using the wireless headset to this day!
Good inexpensive alternative to buying off the shelf!

Summary: Item received isn't exactly the one pictured. I received a white headset, slightly different model without any packaging (wrapped in bubble wrap). The item works, so I am not complaining, its a great savings, because the ones in the store are more than double what I paid.
