Comfortable but defective

Daniel U., Newegg
11 December 2013
  • Pros: Pros: comfortable, nice design, low cable noise, good for sports, inexpensive (i paid $13)
  • Cons: poor quality control, mine is defective, has a cable break/short near the microphone. I keep loosing sound in one ear unless cable is bent just the right way. Also, low sound level even when volume dial is turned all the way up, (all my other phones are much louder at same setting).

A decent pair of 'phones.

Jon A., Newegg
3 December 2012
  • Pros: I bought these headphones on sale roughly a year ago now, and they have withstood constant use and abuse through out it. These 'phones are quite sturdy as long as you treat them properly. The sound quality is great, and they will block some sound, like earplugs. They come with several styles and ...
  • Cons: As I said, I've had them for a year. The only wear has been a piece of wire stabbing out from just above the earpiece itself. Though it impressive that the headphones lasted this long with such minor damage, it is still very uncomfortable and down right painful. Then, there is the matter of price...

Great earbuds, short life

M H., Newegg
26 June 2012
  • Summary: Even though these failed pretty quickly I would still buy them again, but only on sale. Not worth the retail price if they won't even make 6 months.
  • Pros: I bought these earbuds about 5 months ago, and have used them almost daily since the day they arrived. THe sound is great and they are very very comfortable. I think I like the fit more than anything else. I guess maybe I have small earholes or something, but most earbuds are very uncomfortable t...
  • Cons: Right around month 5 they started to have a crackling noise when the cable is moved. I have isolated the short to very close by the jack. I am going to see if MEElectronics will replace them as they are supposed to still be under warranty.
