Summary: These replaced my Bluetooth earbuds Ive had for 2 years so having the wire again is taking some time to get used to. I am still trying to determine which ear pieces to use. The audio quality seems good when they are fitted correctly. I would have liked them to be able to control my iPod, like skipping a track etc. but like I stated they are what they are... One more thing.
Pros: Perfectly designed for an active lifestyle, with memory wire to keep them in place and sweat resistance for those hard workouts, Nice bass response with very clear sound quality, High value for money
Cons: An armband would be nice, but at this price you can't really expect that!
Summary: I'm a runner and was looking for a decently priced set of ear buds with great sound quality that wouldn't keep falling out of my ears. When these are %60 off, they are an amazing deal and well worth the price. I would not purchase these or any ear bud for what these cost originally, that's just too much for something so small and electronically simple.
Pros: I put these earbuds through hundreds of miles of running and sweat and after about 2 years they are finally dying. Amazing sound quality! Has great bass and sound (assuming you use the canal inserts that best seal inside your ear). Also doesn't let the sound escape. The retention wire that wraps the buds around your ears works extremely well coupled with the strain relief clip on the cord.
Cons: Only worth the purchase price if you get them on sale. About 1.5 years into owning them the plastic retainer clip broke, leaving me to use a binder clip for strain relief. The left ear bud has attenuated itself so the sound is lopsided. Granted both buds are rusted inside and have seen ridiculous exposure to sweat moisture and the environment. You'll need to scrape your earwax out of the rubber ear seals after every run. Best to wait till it hardens. Gross I know but ...
Summary: Two things are important for using these buds correctly: Initial Burn In: either set the buds to run pink noise for several hours or just use them for while before passing your final judgement on the bud's sound quality. Find The Right Eartip Fit: this is critical to getting proper bass response, try several different eartips to find the ones best suited for your ears otherwise the buds will not seal properly with the ear canal and the bass will be lost.
Pros: CONSTRUCTION AND ACCESSORIES: The construction quality of these seems durable, the over ear wire clip works very well for holding the buds in place while still being comfortable. The included case and multiple ear tip options are much appreciated and of seemingly good quality. SOUND QUALITY: After a burn in period (the manual suggests one and I would highly recommend it before assessing sound quality), the bass response of the buds is quite reasonable, but not out of ...
Cons: The wire does tangle easily, but it is fairly thick and seems durable so I would not complain too much about it. The sound performance is lacking somewhat in the high range. Normally, highs come through just fine, but in certain songs, the 3-6kHz range becomes disproportionately loud to the point of significant annoyance. This may or may not be the fault of the buds, I am using them in my computer (Realtek sound chip I believe) with Winamp music player when I sometime...
Summary: Wow these are the best earphones I've had! The bass is amazing, so deep and powerful, and I can hear things in my music I couldn't with my original headphones. I also love the design, really sleek and stylish, and they seem really good value for the price.
