These entry-level in-ears from MEElectronics aren't flashy or expensive, but they get the job done.

  • Conclusion: If you’re looking for a set of headphones to take with you exercising, you’re probably going to want a pair that doesn’t cost much, sounds relatively okay, and blocks out a good amount of outside noise. While they definitely don’t score the best, the MEElectronics M6s fit this bill to a T, and should satisfy most people looking to grab a pair of in-ears that they can abuse while they get swole.

The Gadgeteer

  • Excerpt: I’ve mentioned in earlier reviews that I tend to find many earbuds uncomfortable, especially the hard, standard earbuds from Apple.  Although I’ve found a few earphones that are comfortable and sound good, I’m always willing to try out another pair.  When Julie offered the MEElectronics M6 earphones for review, I asked to give them a try.
  • Pros: Very comfortable, Sound good, Moderately priced
  • Cons: None

  • Conclusion: Affordable, well built, and stylish with astonishing audio performance rivaling competitors that cost more than many times their price, Meelectronics M6 and M9 are great. These cheap phones even nailed isolation and fit which means you can maintain a seal even when participating in sporting activities! What more can I say?!
  • Pros: Great construction, Inexpensive, Great sound, So many accessories, comfortable
  • Cons: Microphonic cables

PC Advisor
17 December 2010
  • Excerpt: Headphones come in different shapes and sizes and the MEElectronics M6 is a pair of in-ear phones with over-the-ear design that resembles stage monitor earphones. The MEE M6 is an upgrade over the M9 that we reviewed earlier.
