Nice buds, if only they held together

j p., Newegg
17 November 2008
  • Summary: If you can manage to get a set without loose internal connections, then these are very nice for the money. Just not very pleased with quality control. Having said that, I would still purchase them again.
  • Pros: Comfortable to wear for long periods (~7hrs). Comes with different size gels to fit almost any ear. Sound quality is good, even at low volume levels. And they create a seal in your ear so you can listen to them without blowing out you ear drums while shutting out your surroundings.
  • Cons: First pair I purchased met an untimely demise when the cord snagged on something and cut the cable. The second, however, were not so nice. There is a loose connection in the left bud and sound cuts in and out every time you move around.

simply no good

Bill C., Newegg
30 September 2008
  • Summary: i've used many a headphone in my life, and have tweaked many an equalizer to get a fairly flat frequency response from them. these headphones though - you won't get even an approximation of good sound...good luck if you're going to try: pray your player can boost the highs enough.
  • Pros: they're cheap...or at least they used to be!
  • Cons: - poor sound - poor fit - poor design - strain relief on the cord and earpieces is a joke

Almost

Jason H., Newegg
31 August 2008
  • Summary: Total drag, i reallllly liked the feel and sound of em, if you can get em to last more than 2 days, i think you will love em. So, just roll the dice! ::rolls:: snake eyes! suck!
  • Pros: Fit so well in my ear! Sound was near perfect!
  • Cons: After about 2 days of very mild use, both buds went out.

  • Summary: COVER THE HOLES it almosts make this product worthless!
  • Pros: looks cool. good quality. good bass. no real distortion.
  • Cons: The open ends of the buds are a HUGE con if u are outside and there is wind or if you are moving. wind/air distorts the sound ALOT and is annoying.

Great Earbuds for Price!!! Super Comfy!

Hayley P., Newegg
11 August 2008
  • Summary: I bought these in June. They were a fantastic value for 12.99 and free shipping!! It's unfortunate they went up to $19.99, but I would still recommend them for that price. I haven't had any durability issues with them, however, I am just using them at work and I sit at a desk all day (though they do...
  • Pros: great bass, good sound, extremely comfortable, great price (I got them at $12.99 with free shipping), stays in ears, great sound isolations, good cord length - not too long, not too short.
  • Cons: some static.

And They Were So Promising...

John S., Newegg
11 August 2008
  • Summary: The sound quality was so good that I think I'm going to try my luck again and exchange these.
  • Pros: Truly great sound for the price. Comfortable, stay in place. Aluminum construction where you'd normally find plastic, they really seemed like a quality product.
  • Cons: 'Seemed' was the key word. Where the wires met ever piece (plug, separation point, and headphones) there was a gap that I was worried would mean that the wires would be stressed if pulled. Even before I used them I put a tiny bit of glue in each of these gaps to be sure any stress would be put on...

Not worth buying

Anonymous, Newegg
28 July 2008
  • Summary: I wish they were more durable, but being that they aren't I can't recommend these to anyone. I guess ya get what you pay for though.
  • Pros: Comfortable, good looking, nice bass. When I first got these I was very pleased with them, I thought I'd gotten a steal for the price. The sound is good, the buds are comfortable, even over long periods of use.
  • Cons: Poorly designed, cheaply made, low durability. They wore out literally after about 50 hours of use. The nice aluminum black connector slowly shorted the sound out in the right bud. If you plan on doing anything that involves moving, these are not the buds for you. These would be nice for somebody...

Fine for the short term

Alex D., Newegg
18 July 2008
  • Summary: Ok, I guess I can buy some glue myself and they'll still work fine, but...
  • Pros: The sound was good, the price was right, and newegg as always was perfect.
  • Cons: I've had these for two months now, I just used them twice a week while cutting my grass, and already both headphones came unglued from their base.

works very well

Anonymous, Newegg
17 July 2008
  • Pros: not bad at all for the price. package came as advertised and sound quality is pretty good. the base is especially juicy but that is expected from canal headphones. the bass may be a bit overwhelming at times but nothing a little equlizer tweaking cant fix. gold plated plug is a plus
  • Cons: the plug casing pulled of when i pulled the plug out of the ipod nest but i applied a little super glue and it is perfect, seems as though the glue was a bit old...
