Summary: if sound quality in headphones is not important then this cheap unit may be for you, but the last pair of generic headphones I bought from a dollar store were at least twice as powerful and better sounding than this maxell pair.
Pros: cheap, simple headphones if you really need a pair in a hurry
Cons: Owned these for less than a day and they are pure garbage. The headphones themselves work without issue, but the sound quality is terrible, muted and faded as if heard from a tunnel
Summary: The photograph should at least resemble the actual thing being sold.
Pros: Sound actually comes out, and if you wear a headband or earmuffs to hold them in place, the sound quality is good.
Cons: Product looks nothing like the photo--has vestigial insulated wires instead of the comfy clips shown--so they hang away from and fall off of your ears. Getting enough volume to span the distance drains the battery.
Summary: I was looking for something to use with my iPod that didn't go in my ear but wasn't an over the ear concept either. The problem with this set is that if I place the device over my ear the part where the sound comes out isn't near my ear canal - it's quite a bit below. If I place the sound near my ear canal then the device won't stay on because it's not properly hooked over my ear.
Pros: Great sound if you can get them to stay anywhere near your ear canal. Very comfortable to wear.
Cons: I think you need big ears to use these - I can't get them to stay over my ear and sit anywhere near my ear canal to actually hear the music.
Excerpt: The Maxell Stereo Ear Hooks are lightweight and comfortable headphones. I use them with my mp3 and DVD player. They're low cost and have very good sound quality and definitely worth buying. I prefer them over others I've had in the past. The pair I have is pink.
Summary: First ,they are way to big for my ears. Second, the sound quality is not good at all. Third, after a couple months of using them they broke. I would recommend just spending a little more money and getting a better set of headphones.
Summary: These headphones are huge. The part that wraps around your ear doesn't allow for the speaker to go into my ear. The speaker is also too big to even rest in my ear. I didn't even plug them into my MP3 player to test them out so I don't know about the sound quality, but that wouldn't matter anyways since they don't fit properly.
