Excerpt: I love listening to my music on the go, and have a few different pairs of earphones because of this. I much prefer earphones to headphones as I find headphones can be quite bulky, and as they fit over the ear instead of inside it I find that sound quality can be compromised. Storing earphones in your pocket is also a breeze in comparison to headphones, so I am very much in favour of earphones.
Pros: Bright colours, cheap and so throwaway .
Cons: Poor quality fitting and uncomfortable, flat sound quality .
Maxell EB-CB Jelleez Ear Buds: Cheap Ear Phones That Last!
12 April 2011
Summary: I don't know why but every time I seem to buy a pair ear phones within a couple of months the sound seems to cut out in one side, goes fuzzy or stops working all together. After a few years of buying ear phones costing around the £15- £20 mark when I found Maxell's Jelleez ear buds for just over £7 in black on amazon about a year ago I thought I'd give them a go. They're also available in blue, green and red for about a fiver.
Pros: good sound quality, look good, comfortable, cheap.
You'll be hard pressed to detect any sound differences ..... ...

Summary: My wife bought me a set of these ear phones after I lost my last pair a few months back. At the time they were retailing on Amazon for around the £6 mark, where I got the blue pair, although they also came in red, black or green colours as well to satisfy any fashion connoisseur who may want to colour code them to an outfit.
Summary: I have a ipod and although I liked my headphones that came with it they didn't last very long before the plastic coating was coming away and I needed to replace them. I had a look round the shops and bought a pair of jelleez earphones in pink to match my ipod. The main reason I bought them was that they were only £5 in comparison with most of the others starting at £20 and up. They were also bright pink which really appealed to me and made them stand out on the shelf.
Pros: cheap to buy and fun colours
Cons: The sound isn't going to match some expensive headphones
Summary: I don't know about you but I end up getting through new headphones and ear buds like they are going out of style. I think I am a bit too heavy handed with them and either yank them out too hard or coil them up to tight. Whatever it is I do I don't have much luck with them. I got a set of the Jelleez ear buds made by maxell to replace a set I had. This was a bit of a while back and they were only £5.99.
Maxell EB-CB Jelleez Ear Buds: great headphones, bad quality
14 July 2009
Summary: The other day i went to hmv in bluewater and there was a massive sale and these were on for a fiver and i needed some new headphones after my cat chewed mine up. I hope these are the ones i bought because they seem simaliar so they must be. The reason i bought these is because i like headphones with comfort and these were called jelliez as jellys soft then they must be comfortable so i bought them.
Summary: I got these earphones after seeing a post on Hotukdeals.co.uk for FREE earphones from play.com. This wasn't long ago so if anyone fancies a pair you could check if the code is still working, just enter PLADALSTA9 in the promotional codes box and your total will change to £0.00 and no postage to pay. The earphones are made by Maxell and are called Jelleez as they are soft to touch, not quite as soft as jelly though I must say!
Pros: Free! comfortable, good sound quality, cheap even if you can't get a freebie
