Marley - People Get Ready earbuds
Ron M., Newegg
25 July 2013
Summary: Definitely able to compete with two other ear bud sets I had, one was $20 more and the other $40 more than THoM's price of $40. Even the carton was cleverly designed. Seeing a clever box gives hope they put some thought in their product. Sounds like they did. Some companies use it all up on the box.
Pros: Just a very nice sound; clear, articulate, non-fatiguing. Cables are sturdy and don't knot up like fishing line.
Cons: None, really. Maybe a little loss of sleep because I stay up listening to music instead of sleeping, but that's operator error.
Summary: Bought these to replace my very degraded Beats ear buds. The quality is much higher than even the new Beats, as my rackmate bought a pair the same week I bought these. The rubber pieces are well fitted, my Beats were falling off and getting stuck in my ear the first month in the gym or the ear buds...
Pros: Great sound, use them everyday and no degrade yet to the quality. I use these for the gym and to sleep at night and while playing 3DS occasionally. The clothes exterior is super thick and rugged, keeping the wiring safe and the phones tangle free.
Cons: Not really a con but the rest of the world is getting these cheaper. Just saw a set in Abu Dhabi for about $15 US. They also had spacers in between the wood molding that were colored metal, vice the glued wood to wood like our version. I don't know if there was a quality difference though.
Summary: I wish it included a cable clip. But really overall satisfied with these earbuds. The bass was a little heavy, but after adjusting my equalizer the sound is perfect. Kinda wish I grabbed the next step up now that I know the quality is there.
Pros: Excellent sound quality. Braided cable is excellent. Works with my Droid DNA for hands free calls. Made from recycled materials is a plus.
Cons: Shipping took forever via USPS, not Newegg's fault. The 3-button controller is only 1 button?
Summary: I bought these as Xmas presents for me & the wife this year on a popular deal-a-day woot-site with no knowledge or recommendations of quality or value. After a almost a month of using them , I have to say they're THE BEST EAR BUDS EVER!
Summary: These are a fantastic make. They give amazing quality sound and amazing bass. Definitely worth more than they were when they were available from marley. definitely my favourite pair for listening to. However, they break easily, very fragile and it's always the left ear bud that breaks.
Summary: LOVE these earphones. As someone who wears these earphones every single day, they certainly fit the bill. Not the most 'crisp' quality of other earphones I have tried, but other qualities outweigh this (such as the longevity in which they last compared to other brands).
Summary: I have never written a review for a item before but I love these ear buds so much I just had to. That sounds quality is just amazing. I have read the reviews with people saying 1 side completely lost sound after 2 days and I would like to say that I have had mine for over 7 months with no problems
