Very nice

Gale G., Newegg
20 May 2013
  • Summary: Overall, I am very happy with it.
  • Pros: It sounds great, better than most other headsets I've tried. The mic is also very clear, and the range is crazy, I can be anywhere in my house and still hear just fine.
  • Cons: The only problem with this is that it wasn't designed for PC. It works with the USB cable for the PC, but you have to change it manually in windows if you want to use it.

Great headset

Anonymous, Newegg
14 May 2013
  • Summary: Really comfortable. the area around my ears gets tender after 5-8 hours of gaming, though that is just me
  • Pros: Great quality. I'm no audiophile but these are not muddy or have no bass like other brand name gaming headsets. Soft cushy and spacious eat cups. Replacable internal battery. Has usb mic out, two analog white/red audio in, and a trs 3.5mm connection in. the headset itsself you can fold the mic up...
  • Cons: You NEED to have the wireless station connected for it to do anything.

It's Great

Anonymous, Newegg
2 January 2013
  • Pros: This is a great gaming headset. I've had a few headsets in my day and by FAR this is the best. it has clear sound quality, minimal to no buzzing. You can also hear the chat very well but it kind of sounds like it's off in the background, but it's an amazing headsets nontheless. I would definitely...
  • Cons: When you try to talk or interact with other people and you're actually in a game it kind of sounds faint in order not to distract you from the immerse experience.

Very Impressed

Michael F., Newegg
18 October 2012
  • Summary: They match my Logitech mouse and keyboard. It isn't supposed to come with a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable but for some reason mine had one... I purchased a 2 year warranty for these, hopefully it was a waste of money and I never have to replace these, but I have TERRIBLE luck when it comes...
  • Pros: I was hesitant on purchasing this headset because of all the complaints about the side-tone. Since this headset cancels noise fairly well, I find the side-tone very useful. Without it I find it difficult to gauge how loud or soft I am speaking. There is absolutely NO delay on the side-tone and so...
  • Cons: They are a little bulky however, they are light enough to not weigh down your head. Out of the box they are bit squeezy but most headsets are. I just stretched them over a small box until they were perfect.

good investment

Noe C., Newegg
21 September 2012
  • Pros: Wireless Good sound quality Great external noise reduction Microphone recording quality sounds great Wireless range is about 30ft in my house. Signal dies out when standing next to an operational microwave (as with all 2.4 GHz devices).
  • Cons: Wireless battery life can seem short if you forget to plug it in when you can. Generally, if I plug in the headset to charge while I'm afk, I have no battery issues when I return. Ear padding does not play well with damp hair. After a year and a half of use, the padding material has begun to degr...

Very happy with my headset

Nathanael H., Newegg
15 April 2012
  • Summary: THE headset functionality WILL WORK ON YOUR PC/LAPTOP. I cannot stress that fact enough. Ignore all reviews claiming that it will not.
  • Pros: The sound quality is crystal clear and just magnificent. The packaging was simple and smart. -All wires come in their own boxes that tell you exactly what they're used for...almost(check Cons). The headset is very comfortable. The padding is water resistant, so it's easy to clean up if you sweat ...
  • Cons: The biggest con I have, and is apparent when reading through the reviews is this: You CAN connect this headset to your PC/Laptop using the PS3 USB cable. Nowhere does it say this in the directions or on the box. So, it's a con due to poor directions, but it's also a PRO as you CAN use it with you...

Best option for xbox AND ps3

Gabriel S., Newegg
16 January 2012
  • Summary: You might actually be able to get some big glowsticks and wave a plane down onto the tarmac with these on.
  • Pros: I don't usually rate stuff, but these are the ones to buy if you happen to have both an xbox and ps3. I spend HOURS searching through other brand's reviews before stumbling on these and wonder why more people aren't talking about them. -They sound great. Not surround sound, but you probably won't...
  • Cons: -These don't plug directly into new xbox slims. I'm pretty sure it's actually Microsoft's fault for using a proprietary HDMI cable so big that can't fit both at the same time. The workaround for xbox 360 slim models is to just plug the white and red cable to your TV, and the other end to the rece...

Great headphones!!

John Y., Newegg
3 March 2011
  • Summary: These things have impressed the hell out of me. I haven't had them long enough to test battery life, but I will say the audio (the most important part) definitely surpasses my expectations. These are only stereo, and they CLEARLY alert you to the direction of in-game sounds / alerts.
  • Pros: Loud at full volume. Very very good bass. (anyone that says otherwise is just being ridiculous) Stereo separation (sound placement) is pretty precise. Comfortable Very flexible. Very precise volume control for both game sound and chat volume. Mic is very flexible and convenient with auto-off when...
  • Cons: Still needs a mic wire to the Xbox controller. Might hurt ears after a few hours. Mic wire does make a small bit of a "scratching" sound when turned at the Xbox controller port.
