Good mic for online gaming
21 February 2014
Summary: Pretty good headset. I've always bought Logitech headsets and have never been let down. I had my last one for about 3 years, it got stepped on and broken last month. I use this for online gaming ( ps3) I've had zero technical issues out of it.
Summary: This will definitely get the job done, but saving up a little longer to pick up a higher end headset might be worth thinking about.
Pros: Decent range (not much bass, understandably) and options for music/game/telephone via slide switch on the back of the right ear. This is convenient for me because I work from home and like to listen to music while I work. I often teleconference via Skype, and it's handy to switch from the music s...
Cons: Not the greatest music headphones, but it's a great headset for telecommunications. I think the quality in this set is mostly found in the microphone, the headphones don't feel particularly robust and I'd almost say cheap feeling. The ear pads aren't overly comfortable, and if I have these on for...
Summary: The wire protection is nice and thick. Cheaper headsets used to get emi interference in my room and this has the protection needed to block it out. Previous headsets have been so bad I had to wrap a soft faraday shield around cords before they were usable.
Pros: I have owned the headset since around Christmas and it has been a great addition to my equipment for work as well as play. I do internet tech support from home and the calls over VPN are so clear! The mic is super sensitive. I keep my mic volume on 3-5% because higher and it will pick up on backg...
Cons: There is only one thing I am not happy with on the headset. About a week after getting it the wire protection connecting to the usb plugin detached, leaving the cords exposed. I considered RMAing it but needed it for work and the sound was still incredible. I wrapped it in electrical tape but tha...
Summary: I got my headset for free because it was given to me broken. I re-attached the wires to the USB dongle and tightly taped it back together. I has worked great ever since. !!!BEST PART!!! I plugged it into my PS3 and it worked! I did not test the mute function but the mic and sound worked!
Pros: Not too tight on the ears, but I can see how it would get uncomfortable after a few hours. Mic boom is flexible and can be folded up and get out of the way if you are just using the headphone part. See BEST PART below!
Summary: If you are looking for a super sweet headset, keep looking. If you have ever owned a Logitech headset before, nothing about this one will surprise you.
Pros: -Good Value (Cyber Monday Deals Rock! Thanks Newegg) -Volume and mute buttons on the ear piece are well designed and convenient -Nice long cord
Cons: -The headset doesn't adjust large enough to fit my head (it's ok I guess, I'm still using them) -While making calls through Google Voice, multiple people have told me that my voice is cutting in and out...
