was good for a while

Summary: I owned the headset for about 10 months before the microphone just stopped working, but audio output still seems fine. I would like another headset like this but with better ear pads, maybe around ear. Would like a headset that outlasts its warrantee.
Pros: I like the mute button, and microphone that moves up out of the way. It seemed like it worked good for a while with PC and PS3.
Cons: The headset hurts the upper part of my ears after wearing them for hours at a time. Red light to indicate muted microphone stopped working after maybe 8 months. Microphone stopped working after 10 months.
Summary: I've considered getting high end gaming headsets but based on reviews it just doesn't seem like anybody makes quality headsets. I guess I will have to go back to $15 headsets or step up to $100 headsets because any price in-between just seems like a waste of money.
Pros: USB connection
Cons: - microphone can only be placed on the left side - tinny audio - microphone is below average (sounds over-modulated all the time regardless of volume settings) - headset is uncomfortable after 1-2 hrs of use - seems very fragile, will likely break
Cons: Comfort could've been better. So if you're a gamer, I'd look elsewhere. After a couple of hours they begin to hurt your ears due to little to none padding. The backround noise cancellation isn't that great. People on skype could sometimes hear the fans on my computer... After about 10 months of u...
Summary: Even tho the ear cups are comfortable they don't provide much noise cancelling. This isn't really a con but it should be noted. My biggest disappointment with this product is the quality of the USB plastic housing. I shouldn't have to use tape to keep this product together.
Pros: The sound that these headphones produce is greater than I expected for a USB audio device. Lacks a good solid base note, and I don't recommend for audiophiles. The ear cups provide good comfort and don't make my ears sweat. The quality of the mic is excellent for Skype and Ventrilo use. It does h...
Cons: Occasionally you can hear a little hum I.E. feedback and possible E.M.I. However, admittedly this is an issue that seems to be environmental and not reproducible so it might not be the product that is at fault. Might just be caused by power fluctuations on the USB chipset. The built in EQ provide...
Summary: I use this headset everyday, so I should not complain too much but... I have already bought two of these in 3 years, I am going to buy another one because the microphone does not work anymore. First it works on some positions only, then it stops working completely.
Summary: Ordered H530 received the H540 - Prices were also different. In communication, was advised the H530 was obsolete. Received a speedy refund of difference in price. Product itself is as described and works well.
