Summary: Have not found something else to recommend yet. Understand the Plantronics GameCom might be an alternative.
Pros: Not sure, never used, have friends that love these. Tried these on, re-packaged for return.
Cons: I realize 1 star may not be in order for people with smaller heads. Unfortunately I have an XXL head, hats, helmets, etc. The only adjustment is the length of the earpieces from the head band, which does not have a width adjustment. Squeezing, feels like they are going to pop off at any moment, e...
Pros: So simple to use, I've been able to issue them to about 18 users around the country, and almost never hear a peep about headset issues. Very comfortable, very easy to setup. Sound is great for the price.
Cons: Had one out of 18 break. Is that really a con? Not enough to take an egg off...worst case call Logitech they usually provide a rebate for a new one.
Summary: Even tho the ear cups are comfortable they don't provide much noise cancelling. This isn't really a con but it should be noted. My biggest disappointment with this product is the quality of the USB plastic housing. I shouldn't have to use tape to keep this product together.
Pros: The sound that these headphones produce is greater than I expected for a USB audio device. Lacks a good solid base note, and I don't recommend for audiophiles. The ear cups provide good comfort and don't make my ears sweat. The quality of the mic is excellent for Skype and Ventrilo use. It does h...
Cons: Occasionally you can hear a little hum I.E. feedback and possible E.M.I. However, admittedly this is an issue that seems to be environmental and not reproducible so it might not be the product that is at fault. Might just be caused by power fluctuations on the USB chipset. The built in EQ provide...
Summary: Seems to be on par with Logitech's quality from other products I've used (keyboard/mouse/speakers/webcam/joystick).
Pros: Price is a great selling point as I wasn't in the market for a $150 headset after building/upgrading my rig. I use it mostly for flight simulator and it gets the job done very well. I find the audio quality very crisp and clear. They're also very comfortable to wear for long durations (even those...
Cons: None so far, and I don't foresee any problems.
Summary: As others have said it would be kinda nice if you could have the mic on the left or the right side instead of only having it on the left. But thats kind of a minor thing for me.
Pros: Very happy with the sound quality. I'm not audiophile, so maybe not as picky as some out there, but I think its more than enough for your average user IMO. I no longer get complaints on vent and skype about my voice sounding terrible and being really quite. I now come through loud and clear. And ...
Cons: Little tight on my ears when I first go them but after using them for a combined time of about 6-8hrs they loosened up so now they fit just right without any discomfort.
Summary: Don't buy this. Get a "gaming" headset with decent sound.
Pros: The mic works, and there were no problems installing drivers.
Cons: The worst sound I've ever heard in the sub-$100 range. It clips at medium volume, has so much midrange everything sounds like a terrible metal band. Seriously, the sound is awful. Not very comfortable, either.
