Exceeds expectations

Mr. L., Newegg
6 November 2012
  • Pros: Top Notch, good sound quality
  • Cons: I wish this headset permitted use of mic on left or right side...unfortuantely it does not. This is a small negative as the performance is good.

Great headset, even after 4 years

Jeremiah W., Newegg
26 September 2012
  • Summary: I've had this headset for what seems to me like 4-5 years now. Before that, I used to go through a headset about once every 6-months to year (with everyday use). I'm not a fan of push to talk, so I would always set my mic up as voice activated and then just use the ear piece mute button when I...
  • Pros: Great quality, great price. Very durable. Long USB cord. Convenient mute button (and the mic has a red led to let you know when you're muted). Volume on the headset itself. Noise cancellation works well.
  • Cons: None

Great for Telecommuting and more!

Lillian B., Newegg
21 August 2012
  • Summary: The wire protection is nice and thick. Cheaper headsets used to get emi interference in my room and this has the protection needed to block it out. Previous headsets have been so bad I had to wrap a soft faraday shield around cords before they were usable.
  • Pros: I have owned the headset since around Christmas and it has been a great addition to my equipment for work as well as play. I do internet tech support from home and the calls over VPN are so clear! The mic is super sensitive. I keep my mic volume on 3-5% because higher and it will pick up on backg...
  • Cons: There is only one thing I am not happy with on the headset. About a week after getting it the wire protection connecting to the usb plugin detached, leaving the cords exposed. I considered RMAing it but needed it for work and the sound was still incredible. I wrapped it in electrical tape but tha...

William S., Newegg
26 February 2012
  • Summary: Worth the money, have spent 6-8 hours on these easily...without glasses.
  • Pros: Comfortable, great sound quality, handy mute button, long enough wires, solid quality (structure), sound adjustment slider actually does something. Great buy when their on sale.
  • Cons: Get uncomfortable if you have glasses IMO.

Not Bad

Doug S., Newegg
15 January 2012
  • Summary: I got my headset for free because it was given to me broken. I re-attached the wires to the USB dongle and tightly taped it back together. I has worked great ever since. !!!BEST PART!!! I plugged it into my PS3 and it worked! I did not test the mute function but the mic and sound worked!
  • Pros: Not too tight on the ears, but I can see how it would get uncomfortable after a few hours. Mic boom is flexible and can be folded up and get out of the way if you are just using the headphone part. See BEST PART below!
  • Cons: Cheap design, needs more bass.

Headsize

Terri C., Newegg
11 January 2012
  • Summary: Try a set, I think you will like them!
  • Pros: For the gentleman that had not bought because of his head size, let me assure him this headset is very comfortable on xxl heads. I am 6'4" and weigh 275lbs. When playing college football I wore the largest helmet on the team. I find the H530 VERY comfortable. I have had more expensive sets that c...

Good while it lasted

Karen E., Newegg
11 December 2011
  • Summary: If you're a gamer, pass it up and find something more comfortable. It was a decent headset for 40 dollars, but I wish it would've lasted longer.
  • Pros: Nice fit (adjustable) Convenient Mute Button Adjustable volume Bendable microphone
  • Cons: Comfort could've been better. So if you're a gamer, I'd look elsewhere. After a couple of hours they begin to hurt your ears due to little to none padding. The backround noise cancellation isn't that great. People on skype could sometimes hear the fans on my computer... After about 10 months of u...

Logitech A++ Customer service

Brandon F., Newegg
20 October 2011
  • Summary: Out of the blue about 5 weeks into owning, windows would no longer recognize the headset. I contacted Logitech customer support via their web chat. They just had me read off a few numbers engraved on the headset (which chinese factory these were made) and they quickly identified this was a batch...
  • Pros: Sound quality is nice, no install software, long cord, no foam thing at the end of mic. Overall, a very solid headset
  • Cons: None that I can think of except it died after 5 weeks, see below.
