Ok, while it lasted
Alex T., Newegg
15 April 2008
Summary: It sounded great while it lasted. the headphones and mic were of great quality, i just wish that logitech would have spent more money on the volume changer. also, I tried to splice the wires around the volume changer, and the sound works, however it occasionally bums out and I need to tap the...
Pros: The sound was great, the mic picked up the right sounds when it needed to, and they were very comfortable.
Cons: The volume changer on the wire suddenly stopped working, and caused the left channel of the headphones to suddenly stop working. If you held the changer or put it at a certain angle, it worked, but eventually it busted, and I could only hear out of the right headphone. This was about 6 months aft...
Summary: The only reason why I had these pair of headphones for so long was because I was broke, and just recently found an ear piece microphone combo that has a better microphone than the Logitech.
Pros: Its a very good microphone/headset combo when I first bought it, microphone was very strong and the headphone were comfortable.
Cons: I have recently thrown this headset in the trash due to how short it's life time is. After about 2 weeks I could only hear out of the right ear phone, and after 1 month both of the headphones were dead. The only reason why I had the headset for so long was because of the microphone, which had ter...
Summary: Pass On These...Spend Your Money on ones with Head padding and Thick Ear pads if You Like Comfort and Will Be Spending Alot of Time Wearing Them. I'm Suprised At Logitech...Usually Every product i buy from them is Very Good Quality and lasts me Along time. ie: Their Wireless Keyboards Rock!
Pros: They Work with Vista...They Work. Sound Comes Out of the HeadPhones.
Cons: Where do i begin...The Head Band That Goes Across your head is hard Plastic,Ouch/Hurts.Very Uncomfortable. Not Comfortable To Wear For any more than 30 Minutes. Ear Cushion pieces Very thin Padding.NOt Well Designed! Cheap...
Summary: I dont like bleeding from the ears. Since the have the 3.5 connectors I just use my reg speakers with the mic plugged in to save my ears, but like that it feels like I am being chocked by a really weak guy. Guess I will deal with it for now.
Pros: ummmm...they are silver.
Cons: To srart off they are really uncoftable, and after a couple of hours your ears will start to bleed if you dont take them off. After a few months the padding over the speakers came off leaving a sticky residue to stick to you ears and make them even more uncomportable.
Summary: I didnt buy it at Newegg but from Best Buy. If the rubber headband went around your ears like most headsets it wouldnt be as painful. if i knew it would be this uncomfortable i would have never bought it.
Pros: Price. it has an External Volume Control. Sound Quality.
Cons: No foam over the mic to cancel out noise and the mic isn't long enough. My biggest gripe is its uncomfortable. This was the first time i bought a headset with a rubber headband pad thinking it would be comfortable..WRONG. This thing is painful to wear. also the external voulme control is hard to ...
Summary: If you are a glasses wearer, like me, the situation will be much worse. Your ear's will hurt bad after only 15 minutes of wearing them.
Pros: Logitech makes good products, but this is something that they are just not good at. The headsets have a decent sound and bass receptors.
Cons: The microphone barely works well on this microphone. Your voice will sound low if you talk on this microphone. Extremely tight,to the point where where you will get swimmer's ear because it keeps all of the moisture in your ears. You will find yourself constantly irritating your ears.
Summary: I would highly recommend going with a Senheiser, they are much better headsets for gaming or anything else. Also, unless you have a tiny head, the mic will stop about halfway between your ear and your mouth, and it won't pick up your voice.
Pros: It's a fairly comfortable headset and doesn't hurt your ears if you will be wearing it for hours on end.
Cons: The microphone is very short, it only extends about four inches from the right ear piece, and it doesn't come anywhere near your mouth.
Summary: My biggest problem with this product was the sound quality--it was so bad I had to return the product for a refund. Logitech usually makes great things, but this is not one of them.
Pros: Microphone worked great and sounded better than most (in my particular case).
Cons: The headphones sounded muddy, tinny and downright unpleasant. I wear glasses so the tight fitting and not-so-padded padded headphones were very uncomfortable after an hour or so. Headphones are meant to put weight on the top of your head, not your ears.
