Summary: Great headset, love to use it. But just like previous reviews the sound seems to cut out quite often. I also enjoy gaming on my Mac and when i am using Skype my I get complained at that my mic cuts in and out. Other then the few issues this headset is very well made. Unlike most bulky headsets this one comes with great padding and is capable of being worn for hours. Could use a software maybe for the mac.
Summary: I ordered this headset , looking for a replace replacement of my old one. After ordering this during black friday it arrived in the mail the next day. First time using the headset was amazing, the 7.1 surround sound really does make a difference, However the mic is not a high caliber quality. Dont get me wrong, the mic is still very well, but i am, use to using a blue snowball mic, However keep in mind that any desk mic will beat any headset, no questions asked.
Summary: Comfortable, reliable, great sound (not just in games). Surround sound is particularly useful in shooters. Mic is great quality. Mic boom is sturdy, adjustable, and the mute function is wonderful. I don't use the G1-3 buttons. Good battery life and being able to charge while using them is handy. Volume wheel as apposed to buttons is a wonderful addition.
Summary: Pros: If you really like the convenience of wireless and aren't a complete audio nut, then this is the right headset for you. On my ears they sound great and I can get up from my desk to get some water without having to pause my music. Or I can program them to pause my music. It doesn't matter. I also use these for work calls over Lync, and my colleagues tell me that I sound like I'm standing right next to them. Cons: Their software suite leaves a little to be desired.
Summary: Overall a great gaming headset. Love the long wireless battery life though always wish it could last a little longer. Love the fact that it can charge and be used at the same time. Decent range. Only problem with it is the software you download to mange the headset doesnt always report the correct amount of time left in the batteries.
Summary: After 1 year of intensive use I can say that this headset has worked very well for me. I say for me because this headset is not for everyone. In my opinion the wireless is amazing, I can walk around my (small) house and still listen to music or talk on Skype. I've had it stutter and turn-off a few times though, but that doesn't happen regular. The audio is fine. I would say that the audio quality is good for this kind of headset but it's nothing special.
Summary: I have had a pair for several years now and cannot complain about anything major. I will have to mention upfront that these are not made for rough handling, they are for people that know how to handle electronic devices and are mindful in their care. With that said, the only real issue I had was with the mic not bending the way I like and staying in position.
Summary: My G930 experience has been great, but you'll need to learn a few things first, the hard way in my case. - Download, install and keep the gaming application running ALL THE TIME, PERIOD. Without the application, the headset disconnects at random at least once every minute. - Charging only works if the headset is turned on (very weird). - If the headset is turned on and is not plugged, the battery will be drained even if there is no sound playing.
Summary: I've had this headset for about a month and the wireless signal has only dropped once. surround sound is amazing with appropriate media. a little on the heavy side but the comfort makes up for it. loving the gkeys and the software behind it is stupendous. do not listen to the bad reviews on here. would recommend this to anyone no matter how much gaming you do. only thing that would make it better would be if you could use it with consoles.
