All-around Good.

David W., Newegg
4 June 2015
  • Summary: I love them for the price. Newegg refurbished items NEVER fail me. Everything always looks brand new.
  • Pros: Clean. Truely plug and play. (i haven't bothered going to the website for annoying software, yet.) Volume knob is connected to Windows 8 onscreen volume. (One volume, Nice!) When I quit a game onto a silent desktop. It's COMPLETELY SILENT. No hissing sound, even at maximum volume. (my ears love y...
  • Cons: Smaller than I imagined. (but that's fine, they're LIGHT!)

Best Headset I've ever owned

Bryan S., Newegg
31 May 2015
  • Summary: I have a Logitech G15 gaming keyboard, the orange one. A Logitech G700 Gaming mouse (best mouse ever) and this headset. They all play nice and are all together in Logitech's gaming software. So one program rules them all. Pretty nice.
  • Pros: The Most comfortable, clear sounding, good sounding best microphone, best software on a headset Ive ever used. Ive used several from other brands even a few from Razer and this takes the cake. Equalizer software lets me tune my sound just how i like it from gaming with tanks and rifles going off ...
  • Cons: Nothing is perfect but this is darn close. After more than 4 years of using the SAME ONE its showing its age. Really the only thing wrong is the "leather" from the headband and ear cups is peeling and flaking off. Ive had people ask me what that black stuff in my hair and on my ears are. Easy fix...

  • Pros: Comfortable, somewhat compact, excellent build quality, decent sound isolation, amazing sound quality and excellent features.
  • Cons: Faux leather pads on the ear cups, faux leather pad on top tends to allow headset to slide off easily, not that loud.

Amazing headset - Until it breaks

Edgar C., Newegg
21 February 2015
  • Summary: I bought 3 of these headphones so far. They all broke on the exact same place. Right under the "G35" Label on either the left or right side. If you like to play games after taking a shower and wear these with wet hair, the over the ear pads will peel off rather quickly.
  • Pros: Amazing Sound 7.1 Surround Sound Durable Cable Amazing Mic with Noise Cancellation Semi-Customize-able G-Keys and Flip to Mute Mic Really comfortable for 12+ Hours of gaming
  • Cons: Ear Cups will peel off after a few weeks Can feel heavy until you get used to it. Afterwards you wont even feel them on. Breaks / Snaps off right under the red "G-35 Label" after about a year of super careful use.

Amazing headset!

Christina R., Newegg
1 February 2015
  • Summary: So ya, people always think a refurbished product means they are more likely to break. Totally not true!! If anything they are LESS likely to break than a brand new pair IMO because a real human being who either works for Logitech or they are an authorized repairer by Logitech physically repairs the...
  • Pros: 1. Braided cable is awesome. Nice and neat. Its also really long. Maybe 15 or so feet. Plenty of length for the average gamer. The connector where the braided cable connects to the headset is very sturdy so it coming loose or shorting out someday is very unlikely 2. The headset is not that heavy....
  • Cons: None! .........Not that I could find anyway :)

It's Been 6 Years

Anonymous, Newegg
28 January 2015
  • Pros: Great sound. Precise bass that isn't overbearing. All the buttons you could hope for. Useful, easily programmed G-Keys. The build quality is superb. Microphone flip-up mute is very convenient. It comes in at a very nice price considering what you get out of it. I've owned and heavily used this fo...
  • Cons: --The ear pads have developed mange. after about four years they started to lose their nice plastic/leather-ish coating in flakes, bits, and pieces. The material underneath is actually rather comfortable in my opinion and very sturdy, but this is an undeniable thing that WILL happen if you purcha...

User Review

Mark L., Newegg
16 January 2015
  • Summary: Always trust logitech for products.
  • Pros: Extremely comfortable, great sound, ful 7.1 experience. Software works pretty well too as all of the G series works with the same program. I use these just about every day and they still work 100% as the day i bought them.
  • Cons: The leather will eventually rip off and the installation process is kind of silly as you have to unplug them when you install them.

Best computer headphones I've ever bought

John H., Newegg
12 January 2015
  • Summary: I have had these headphones for going on 6 years now. I have never been happier with a set of headphones. The external noise dampening and great faux surround sound along with just great quality sound makes games and movies more enjoyable, allowing me to get away into my own space.
  • Pros: Great functionality. Excellent sound. Great noise reduction on microphone, Great external noise dampening, convenient plug and play use, Long cord. Having the volume on the left ear piece means I never have to search the cable for the little controller box in the middle of a high intensity game m...
  • Cons: After about three/four years the cord, around the connection point to the headphones became permanently twisted and began to wear badly. (fixed this by stabilizing the area with a plastic splint and some duct tape before the damage became unrepairable) The swivels on the earpieces have been known...
