Summary: If it had a different cord these would be a nice 4.5 out of 5 for me but this cord is terrible
Pros: Decent sound, Mic pick up is good. Button and volume wheel are nice.
Cons: The cord is the most frustrating part about these headphones. All it wants to do is tangle it dosnt matter how many times I have straightened it out it always wants to go back to how it was wrapped up when I first purchased the headphones. It dose nothing but want to kind and knot up. Volume alwa...
Cons: The black vinyl material on the earpads and top headpad flaked off after a year. Google it and it seems to be a systemic problem with the G35 headset. I just peeled it all off and kept going, but what a mess. Very disappointing for that to happen.
Summary: I would not recommend getting this product, hopefully my Corsair Vengeance 1500 v2's won't break from when I receive them and the future.
Pros: This product has beautiful surround sound! I could tell where every single shot came from! The mic is decent as well. The little voice morph thing is funny sometimes. The leather padding is comfortable and it didn't crush my big head.
Cons: The construction of this product is quit bad though. With my first one, the pivot snapped from barely any strain over 4 months, I received no refund as well. With my second copy the same area of plastic broke. The surround was staticky using a certain version of the program.
Summary: The deafening static can be fun while playing a horror game! Turning that last corner where you are certain that face eating monster is hiding behind, then *SKERSHHHHH* will certainly make you jump from you seat.
Pros: Sound Quality is fantastic. Crisp and clear with some interesting functionality.
Cons: Random white noise blasts through speakers. Deafening static at full volume with no indicator of when it will happen. Logitec really dropped the ball here. This issue is well know by the developers since around 2010. I have tried everything suggested to fix the issue but nothing helps. Wasted $10...
Pros: Sound quality is decent. I have Sony MDR V6's that are significantly better in that department. Directionality of sound is pretty good for FPS games. Managed to survive a few drops. Well-made cord.
Cons: The plasticy material covering the earpieces will wear off and get little black flakes of plastic all over you, and it is really annoying. They are heavy. I got ear fatigue from these headphones but not my MDRs. Also mine broke--an ear piece just snapped right off as I was trying to adjust it--af...
Summary: I bought a 2nd headset after my first broke after 2 years (not sure of the niece had something to do with it, so I just bought a new one instead of trying for warranty). For the 2nd headset, I called customer support, went through the email bit with them.
Pros: Good sound quality (for me at least) Long cable
Cons: Have to toggle the switch to keep the surround sound on Headset is not durable. My 2nd headset stopped working in the middle of a game, pc failed to recognize a new USB device it (mine and the GFs). - Headset was roughly a year old at that point. Software is very buggy. Randomly stops working Doe...
Summary: I've done a lot of research around, and the best solution if you're a competitive FPS player like me is to go with a good headphone (standalone mic) and a dedicated sound card. You won't pay much more (around 180$?) and you'll get a much, much better surround experience.
Pros: - Virtual Dolby 7.1 surround sound works, I guess
Cons: - There are 2 modes to this headset. The stereo mode is completely bugged with VOIP softwares such as teamspeak, mumble, etc. - The new drivers are pretty bad, with random scratching noises again from VOIP softwares (mumble) - Finally, and the most important, the build quality is horrible. Everyo...
Summary: Now, it states that this item is supposed to have a 3 year limited warranty. And of course, the manufacturer box is packed up into storage while I move. Hopefully New egg can help me fix this, or at least compensate me in some way. We shall see.
Pros: This headset was awesome at first. Very comfortable. Easy to set up. The sound was awesome. Cord was long.
Cons: Now, the sound from games and videos and such is awesome. But theres got to be something with the headfset that isnt right. I cant go more than an hour or so on this headset without my ears hurting. From the inside. After wearing this for an hour or more, the insides of my ears feel like they are...
Summary: This headset is good in the most basic way you want it to be: it sounds good, both in and out. But after that, it's a failure. Almost immediately the microphone arm broke so it wouldn't stay up. I had to put a rubber band around the arm to keep it from always hanging in my face.
Pros: Good sound quality. Not uncomfortable. Useful buttons.
