Summary: Not as comfortable as my the old Fatality headset I was replacing, but it's probably just a matter of breaking them in.
Pros: -Comfortable -Okay sound
Cons: -The headset intentionally puts an annoying reverb on all stereo audio when in Surround mode to "simulate" being in a room. There's no way to turn it off without also disabling Surround Sound. -Windows 7's speaker config doesn't recognize it as a Surround Sound headset and only gives the option f...
Worked exactly two days beyond NewEggs's 30 day return period
Michael W., Newegg
31 August 2015
Summary: Now I'm stuck with Logitech's famous customer service (something that would be very familiar to a cow.)
Pros: Sounded beautiful - while it worked. Really comfortable - while it worked. Nice controls - while it worked.
Cons: Worked exactly two days beyond NewEggs's 30 day return period. Logitech Gaming Software can see nothing, in spite of the fact that I have Logitech keyboard, track ball, and joystick also connected.
Fragile design and materials and poor Customer Support
John K., Newegg
9 August 2015
Summary: This is an edit after dealing with customer support So far I have been hung up on twice and put on hold for 20-30 min. before I finally hung up. Each time they picked up and I was on just long enough to hear people talking in the back ground then they hung up or put me on hold without saying...
Pros: While they last they are very comfortable sound pretty good and the mike is ok. I really like the on ear controls.
Cons: After 7 months I noticed a little broken piece of plastic where I set then when I'm not using them. On the left side above the swivel for the ear the piece of plastic with screws in it is kind of crumbling apart. On the right side above swivel for the ear piece is a vertical crack about 3/4 of an...
Summary: I'll post back if the headset is damaged or otherwise faulty.
Pros: Quickly delivered, as ever.
Cons: The box came in crushed. The bubble wrap/packaging was popped, and the manufacturer's box was smashed as well. Either UPS crushed the box so hard it popped the wrap or Newegg wrapped my headset in bad wrap. Waiting to see if the headset even works and I'm hoping to hear back from somebody regardi...
Cons: Absolute garbage quality. I bought two pairs of these at the same time about two months ago for me and my girlfriend. My pair is starting to crack where the ear pieces swivel, even though I've been incredibly careful while handling it. On her pair the wire and its sleeve has developed some kind o...
Summary: Seriously, don't buy this. There are other headsets with most of the features of this one, including 7.1 surround, but with better build quality and cloth ear pads, which are a must for comfort in my opinion. I've owned one of these alternatives for over a year now and have not been disappointed.
Pros: Good sound, simulated 7.1 surround works well, G keys are nice. The mic is okay but kind of tinny. Not much else good to say.
Cons: Oh boy, where do I start? The braided cord is pretty sub-par, it's stuff as solid copper wire, and will always retain the bends in it from being wrapped up. It also tends to get tangled quite easily. Now, I actually owned this headset twice (second was a replacement), and both times the cuffs bro...
Pros: Decent Mic Quality Decent Audio Quality Braided Cable
Cons: Shoddy build quality, Cracks on both earcup "attachments" Braided cable broke open When listening to music/playing games music/game audio fades in and out After 1 year of light/moderate use the right earcup speaker entirely stopped working.
Summary: Be very cautions about buying these.I took the chance and i ended up sending them back the same day i got them. They do sound good but you WILL have to fix or deal with the breaking problem.
Pros: Great sounding headphones for the money.
Cons: Very poor build quality even when buying new.I had some in the past that broke so i decided to give the refurbished ones a try. They sent me a pair that was broke right where the cup meets the headband and somebody super-glued it all back together. There was a big hole with cracks and glue all over...
Cons: The right side of the set keeps breaking on its weakest connection. This is a design failure. I have the G35 now for 4 months and love it but can trash it since it became unusable. This is my 2nd G35 and also broke down within 6 months. My suggestion is to stay away until Logitech fixes this prob...
Summary: Overall, if you do end up buying these, make sure you get an extended warranty and start saving up something better for when these do inevitably break. I've always used Logitech peripherals, but after having to go through the same issue over and over, I'll be looking elsewhere.
Pros: The audio quality is fantastic for these headphones and the programmable buttons on the side make it easy to control a media player while gaming. Plus, the 2 year warranty is amazing, as you will probably end up having to use it.
Cons: Hands down, these are the cheapest headphones I've ever owned. The build quality is HORRIBLE. I've gone through 4 of these and every time, the right side has snapped off. It is extremely weak at the pivot point. Thankfully, I'm not the only one having these issues, but Logitech has done nothing t...
