My favorite

Robert H., Newegg
20 June 2015
  • Summary: After over 5 years of owning 2 G35 headsets, I have NO problem springing for the high price on this product. It's Logitech. What more do you need? They look great, comfortable, great sound (keep waiting for my seat to vibrate, the bass is so good), USB (I love the connectivity of USB vs 3.5mm...
  • Pros: Great sound when you get it configured. I game a LOT, so I use all the major voice chats such as TS3, Ventrilo, Mumble, RaidCall, etc. Just have a friend in the chat tell you when you are coming through, loud and clear. It also works well with my music writing programs and gives clean, clear sound...
  • Cons: The swivels for the headphones ALWAYS break. However, the quality is decent enough that if you take proper care of the headset, you can prolong this. I don't see it as enough of an issue to warrant making a big deal out of it. Plastic breaks after a lot of use. These included. Some electrical tap...

Quality audio, fragile headset

Theodore D., Newegg
6 June 2015
  • Pros: Sound quality Wired (some consider a con, I like not having to count on batteries) Comfortable Good microphone
  • Cons: Link between the rotating ear pieces and the head band is all plastic and prone to breaking. Mine broke within a year, was replaced, then broke again in under 6 months.

All-around Good.

David W., Newegg
4 June 2015
  • Summary: I love them for the price. Newegg refurbished items NEVER fail me. Everything always looks brand new.
  • Pros: Clean. Truely plug and play. (i haven't bothered going to the website for annoying software, yet.) Volume knob is connected to Windows 8 onscreen volume. (One volume, Nice!) When I quit a game onto a silent desktop. It's COMPLETELY SILENT. No hissing sound, even at maximum volume. (my ears love y...
  • Cons: Smaller than I imagined. (but that's fine, they're LIGHT!)

Great Sound, Decent Quality

Cody M., Newegg
31 May 2015
  • Pros: - These have a great sound for the price and haven't had any audio issues for the 2+ years that I've used them. The other reviews cover the pro's very well.
  • Cons: -Poor design of a plastic piece on the link between the earpieces and the band causes them to break easily and separate, with no replacement parts available to buy after your warranty is expired. If you're handy with some duct tape it's fixable but it's a definite drawback. - After a year of use,...

Best Headset I've ever owned

Bryan S., Newegg
31 May 2015
  • Summary: I have a Logitech G15 gaming keyboard, the orange one. A Logitech G700 Gaming mouse (best mouse ever) and this headset. They all play nice and are all together in Logitech's gaming software. So one program rules them all. Pretty nice.
  • Pros: The Most comfortable, clear sounding, good sounding best microphone, best software on a headset Ive ever used. Ive used several from other brands even a few from Razer and this takes the cake. Equalizer software lets me tune my sound just how i like it from gaming with tanks and rifles going off ...
  • Cons: Nothing is perfect but this is darn close. After more than 4 years of using the SAME ONE its showing its age. Really the only thing wrong is the "leather" from the headband and ear cups is peeling and flaking off. Ive had people ask me what that black stuff in my hair and on my ears are. Easy fix...

User Review

Jonathan A., Newegg
9 May 2015
  • Pros: Good Sound, works as advertised.
  • Cons: Absolute garbage quality. I bought two pairs of these at the same time about two months ago for me and my girlfriend. My pair is starting to crack where the ear pieces swivel, even though I've been incredibly careful while handling it. On her pair the wire and its sleeve has developed some kind o...

Good sound, with some baggage

Douglas M., Newegg
9 May 2015
  • Summary: I own several Logitech products, and in general I am happy with their build quality and construction. However, I searched the Logitech support forums because I was having an issue with my G35 headset I bought in Jan 2015 which resulted in constant USB connecting and disconnecting sounds from the...
  • Pros: Great sound, fits nicely and can adjust the fit, mic quality seems good from what I can tell, mic mute function is convenient (lift/retract mic to mute), seems like it is built nicely, which is expected for Logitech gaming equipment
  • Cons: Constant disconnect issues that I have had since I got it, which are as of right now all over forums and Logitech community support posts, and the only responses from the manufacturer I see are "general USB Troubleshooting" type responses. For these reasons the egg rating went from "5" to "3"

Not a Solid Invesment

David H., Newegg
31 March 2015
  • Summary: If you're looking to buy this product, understand that it's a glass cannon. It performs admirably, but it won't last long. It's just not a solid investment.
  • Pros: Excellent audio output made for engaging video gaming, and the audio input was crisp and clear, so long as you record in a generally quiet environment.
  • Cons: The headband and earpiece covering material began flaking and falling off after only a few weeks, and the USB started having issues about a few months in. Even when tested on multiple ports, on multiple devices, jostling the USB lightly would completely interrupt the device and require refreshing...
