Summary: The headset is very well built and is comfortable even after marathon sessions of game play. Sound/Voice quality is superb, and the controls are easy to use and very responsive. One major con though is the lack of replacement ear pads for the headset once they wear out. I find that to be a big detraction to the overall quality of the headset, so much so I took away a whole star from what could have been a 5 star review.
Summary: I've had this headset for over a year now so I'd figured I'd write a little review. Before the G35s I had been using Turtle Beach PX5s; a wireless headset. Both were 7.1, although the Turtle Beach's had Bluetooth. The difference between the two was significant in Logitech's favor. They are extremely comfortable, allowing for 8+ hour sessions with no fatigue around the ears or from the ears, and no weight issues whatsoever.
Summary: I have tried many headsets and earbuds in my life but nothing has really come close to this. I have had the headset for only around 6 hours and I absolutely love it. I found it cheaper than the G430 and I do not regret going for it. These G keys really make a difference and the mic up to mute really is amazing. Mic quality is waay better than the old mic I was using.
Summary: I think I've had this headset for over 2 years now and the plastic part holding the ear piece on finally broke. The sound and mic were great never had any issues with them. I set up the keys on my old laptop and when I plugged it into my new one it still had the keys programmed as I left them and worked the way it always did.
Pros: This headset is comfortable, comes with different size cushions to work with the size of your head. The mute button and the auto mute when the boom is lifted is perfect. The Macro buttons are convenient, of course I initially used them for the voice modulation, but ultimately that ends up just being annoying because you'll accidentally turn it on and there is no notification unless you keep the control center open. The sound is also great, I never understood the love ...
Cons: No way of telling which macro keys are on without opening the control window.
Summary: I bought it again because overall I like the performance of this headset. I have learned there are precautions in how I handle it to avoid breaking them again however. Over time there were two issues that developed. First the ear pads and headpads deteriorate too quickly and Logitec doesn't offer replacement ear pads. Extra head pads come with it. Then the final blow came when one of the ear pieces snapped off at the swivel.
Summary: I have been buying and enjoying Logitech products for years. In my opinion they make some of the best gaming hardware available. When I was looking for a gaming headset again Logitech was my first choice, my only other decision was wired or wireless. I bought the G35 and was blown away by the comfort and the sound quality. Now after almost a year the plastic above the ear pad has broken and the feel of the headset has gotten loose.
Excerpt: Sound is great! Virtual Surround Sound is work perfectly , It work like true 7.1 (Compare to Razer Tiamat 7.1). Sound is clear , Bass is good but upper bass is too a little low. Sound stage is nice (Stereo Mode) good for Gaming and Movie, Music is so-so The bad is volume is too low. Should be...
Summary: no issues to speak of. I have the G930 I have had these now for several years and only now do I notice the set turns off at random. There is also the problem with the ear pads and head band flaking, almost all is gone now.
