Summary: Final Thoughts
This is one of the products that I have reviewed lately that I’ve kept on my desk and used every day. It is not often that, that happens since I see so many of the same products. The thing that I really like about the G35 headset is that it is an all around headset. It sounds great with music, movies and games. The microphone is great for Skype calls or to talk to people in-game.
Pros: Very comfortable, Dolby Headphone technology, Programmable buttons on earpiece, Very clear microphone performance
Cons: USB connectivity takes your sound card out of the equation
Conclusion: The Logitech G35 is perfect for any casual or professional gamer and, even though it may be a little more expensive than other similar headsets, it's definitely worth the cost if you're serious about gaming.
Summary: All in all, the G35 is a well-built headset producing exceptional sound quality that definitely won't disappoint. The USB connection and inbuilt sound card mean the G35 will perform well and have compatibility with any computer.
When I first put these headphones on, I noticed how heavy they seemed to be. It was a bit different from the normal headphones I have used in the past. After about five minutes however, I got used to them. From then on the weight never bothered me again.
The headband pads can be easily removed and swapped out without an issue. I didn't think much of this until I tried out the different pads.
Excerpt: Have you ever heard the phrase that, “some words makes men speechless!!” I feel those words might have been heard with the Logitech G35 7.1 surround-sound headset. The buying is not always done by the needs and requirements; it’s the desire and emotional motions that makes the pampering for the buying of any of the article.

Excerpt: Retailing for $130, the G35 is not cheap. That said, it’s a full-featured and extremely capable product that is, or is very close to, the best option available for PC gamers today. Aside from being a bit heavy the G35 feels great and it has no pinch-points so extended use is not a problem (probably the biggest complaint with most headsets) and it is packed with thoughtful features.
Conclusion: The G35 Surround Sound Headset is reasonably priced and capable of delivering some impressive audio. But if you're expecting a similar effect to a standard 5.1 surround sound system, you'll ultimately be disappointed since the G35 is no substitute for the real thing.
Summary: Although Logitech's first foray into surround sound headsets sounds incredible, compatibility issues with certain games and the lack of fine-grained control seen in every other G-series product leaves a lot to be desired for the asking price.
Pros: Great sound, Comfortable, Positional audio works great for DVDs and certain video games, Easy voice changer, Durable 10' cord
Cons: MSRP a bit steep, Surround sound not compatible with all games, No volume control over individual channels, Soft high-pitched frequency in R earcup when using the microphone , No protective case for LAN party travel
