Summary: This headset is great for the headphones but horrible for the mic. I replaced it with a Turtle Beach PX22 MLG series.
Pros: Great ear cups great speakers nice bass. Comfortable and nice long braided cable.
Cons: The mic is really bad hardly picks up with out having to boost it more than you should. Then it picks up the audio from the headphones, how that is possible I don't know. I guess the sound is traveling through the plastic somehow and being picked up internally through the mic.
Pros: This headset was comfortable and had good voice quality, and overall I felt was a good value.
Cons: After a few months the microphone quit working. Since it was still well within the one year warranty I contacted Logitech to see about getting the headset repaired or replaced. The representative said that he could not help me without seeing a receipt first. I had purchased the headset online 3-4 months ago so I did not have the receipt. I contacted Newegg and had a representative send me the PDF of the order invoice that Newegg themselves used to process the order. I...
Summary: This is more headphones then a headset. the mic is absolutely WORTHLESS. the sound in the ears is fine. you can hear very well and even sort of cancels out the background noise. If you plan on using this for gaming it is a no go. I am constantly repeating myself with this mic people cannot hear me unless i scream of if the mic is touching my lips. The actual mic itself is fold able which seems cool but it only bends one way.
Summary: The sound quality was excellent, but one problem I couldn't shake from the get go was the static on the mic. Whenever speaking with other people, they'd always complain about the static. I've turned on DC Offset cancellation and Noise Suppression to try and combat this. While it does reduce static, it doesn't eliminate it. There is still enough for people to complain about. I also tried playing around with the microphone levels to see if that would help, and no dice.
Summary: Will not be repurchasing from logitech anytime soon.
Pros: Reasonable Price for reasonable usage. Somewhat comfortable
Cons: The microphone had issues from day one. Now it is day 28 and there is always constant static while it is turned on. Making online voice communications near impossible without making the other participants and your own ears bleed.
Summary: Spend $20 more and get something that sounds awesome like the Plantronics Rig which has the best sound I have heard and is very comfortable.
Pros: Cheaper than the good ones
Cons: Sound is low quality compared to any decent headset out there. Mic did not work from day one. I thought it was sound card but still bad. Appears to be a poorly soldered wire in the connector. And good luck dealing with Logitech customer service.
Logitech has the worst customer support i've ever encountered.

Summary: This thing was ok for like a month... then it cracked just above where the ear piece is where the hinge is. Honestly Logitech has the worst freaking customer support ever. I contacted them last thursday about wanting to get this replaced. At the rate this is going I decided to say screw it, and to buy a new razer headset. Logitech makes horrible headset's that feel flimsy and break easily. They are also one of the worst companies to have customer support.
