  • Pros: they werent bad. I liked the open part of the headset. i like being aware of my surroundings. this may be a con for some people. sound was subpar.
  • Cons: honestly, theyre just really cheap headphones with a mic attached to it. broke in about a year and a half.

Great!.... while they last

Michael D., Newegg
31 August 2010
  • Summary: I really like this design! Between the behind the head arch, the comfort of the ear pieces, and the over all sound quality from both mic and speakers, I was really disappointed when these went south due to cheap wiring.
  • Pros: This is the most comfortable headset I've ever owned. They fit well, and the open ear design really helps with keeping sweat to a minimum with extended use.
  • Cons: Cheap wiring. Shortly after I bought them (4ish months) one of the speakers stopped working. I continued to use them after for a little over a year when the other speaker finally cut out as well.

Good while they last.

Michael B., Newegg
24 July 2010
  • Summary: For me, $40 barely acceptable for a 1 year life span. I've had a few of these and the only reason I haven't bought anything else is because I know the sound quality on these is good.
  • Pros: Sound quality is good, microphone quality is good.
  • Cons: Cabling is shoddy at best. The headphones WILL short out between 6 months and a year.

Eh...

Amanda C., Newegg
29 April 2010
  • Summary: I'm a girl, and have a small-ish head I suppose in comparison to most guys, therefore these headphones don't 'cup' my ears snugly enough so the weight of the headset (which is hefty enough) is entirely on the tops of my ears. As you can guess, it hurts a lot after a while.
  • Pros: -Nice enough sound, good price -Volume and mute built into cord control -Cord length
  • Cons: -The mic mute/unmute toggle won't 'click' into position easily. I'll have the mic on and working, then the next day I come back and the mic is muted and the toggle switch has migrated into a middle position...not even all the way over to 'mute.' I'll need to force it back into unmute again, a bit...

Not as bad as everyone says

Jacob S., Newegg
25 April 2010
  • Summary: all in all i would recommend these to others, keep in mind that they are a behind the head headset which will turn some people off.
  • Pros: these have a good sound and a great mic, very comfortable even for someone with a bit of a big head. the actual speakers don't sit right on top of your ears like most headphones do. instead there is a bit of a structure to keep them off. That was a big plus for me due to having a headset on for h...
  • Cons: they are kind of bulky, and not the best sound i have ever heard, but they are also 1/10 the price of the top end headsets so i didn't really expect that much.

It's alright

Benjamin R., Newegg
25 February 2010
  • Summary: Spend an extra 20 dollars and get a steelseries
  • Pros: It still works after a year. This thing has been through so many beatings I'm amazed on how it can still work. The mic is decent enough.
  • Cons: The ear pieces hurt your ears after a little while. It's only a 2 speaker set up, no 5.1 so don't expect anything fancy

Audio out Again?

Benjamin H., Newegg
11 August 2009
  • Summary: These would be great headphones if they would just work properly. The audio is great in my opinion, especially for the money...
  • Pros: I actually like the feel of these headphones, but they do make you look ridiculous when wearing them. Sound quality is good when they work. Convenient placement of mic, and it's moveable. In-line volume control.
  • Cons: My second pair, and they are already no longer working :( First pair had right side audio go out whenever I adjusted the in-line volume control?? Ordered another thinking it was just a fluke, new ones have no right side audio now also. Only had them 3 months until audio goes out on one side!! It'...

Decent Headset

Brandon R., Newegg
30 June 2009
  • Summary: For the price this is a awesome headset! But this headset is a headset that will take along time to get used to because it literally sits all its weight on your ears, which makes your ears bend out and it is not comfortable at all.
  • Pros: The price Size Sound
  • Cons: Comfort Sound

  • Pros: good sound cancels out other sounds.
  • Cons: a lot. very uncomfortable after bout 3 hrs of gaming. mic is ok but pics up cars driving by from the road gets annoying. Having problems with the cord. wont work right driving me insane. goes quiet when plugged in all the way and plays clearly half in where you plug it in, very stupid and obnoxious.
