Good Headset... While it Worked.
12 June 2010
Summary: I've owned Logitech products for the past 3-4 years. None of their products have seem to fail me yet, except for this Headset. Allthough it did break, this was an excellent headset for the price. I currently upgraded to the Wireless version and I'm not that happy with the result.
Pros: -Great quality. Clear crisp sound/mic. -Long cord. -Ability to change volume/mute mic via the buttons directly on the headset.
Cons: -The USB plug is too big. Using this headset on my laptop, which I traveled allot with, resulted in breaking the long USB plug.
Summary: Within the first month of having this headset, I successfully ran over the piece with the volume control and mute button, breaking it. I managed to put it back together with a bit of tape and it STILL works over a year later. Highly recommend this headset.
Pros: Great sound. Works out perfect for using with VoiP programs and for playing games. Can normally pinpoint where people are coming from with ease. Also comfortable around the ears.
Cons: Sort of wish it was wireless. Have problems with running the long wire over with the wheels of my computer chair.
Summary: If you are looking for a good quality and compty headset so you can optimize your sound experience and you want the bang for your buck, this is for you. Be very careful with the USB connector. It will break and wobble easy.
Pros: Great Quality, noise canceling, sound controls, comparable
Cons: The USB connector is really cheap. I had to RMA this item because the USB piece broke. It should have been manufactured better. Also there is no bass which sucks :-(.
Summary: I've owned two pairs of these headsets during past 9+ months, upgraded from a Logitech Digital Precision set which have some troubles now but still work. I prefer several elements of that set, including the thinner, longer cord which is much easier to deal with and the overall design.
Pros: Three sound modes - gaming, music and general speech. I haven't used the speech setting, but there is a noticeable difference between music and gaming, with the latter providing a little punchier sound: more bass, etc. I'm no sound expert, but they sound quite good to me. Headset volume control- ...
Cons: Flimsy. I'll be honest here, these are not very sturdy at all. I've already had one pair break on me (other thoughts), but Logitech's return process was great, and I had a new pair in no time. They certainly won't fall apart in your hands, but do your best not to drop them or be too rough with th...
Summary: Having a stereo headset for a system that only supports ingame voice chat is overkill. I'm going back to my single earphone headset with the 12+ ft. of chord. If you want ingame audio through your headset get one with a standard 3.5mm jack and plug it into the TV or shell out for the Turtle Beach...
Pros: Comfortable. I like the large volume and mute controls on the earphone.
Cons: I bought this based on reviews of other people who had purchased it for their PS3 and said it worked great. They failed to mention that only chat comes through the headset. I was looking for stereo ingame audio. Apparently the PS3 does not support ingame audio through USB. This is Sony's fault an...
Summary: I ordered this on Thursday on the 10 and i ordered next day shipping and it says i wont receive the package till the 14 never do next day or 2nd day shipping with ups it usually ends up taking a few extra days.
Pros: I bought one of these over a year ago worked very good perfect sound, mic worked very well very sensitive to you voice.
Cons: Usb broke over use/abuse :) otherwise good headset
Summary: If you need a good gaming headset this is it be careful with it, they dont build like they should.
Pros: This headset provided great sound quality, people could hear me fine worked great on the ps3 and the pc perfectly it was a plug and play type of deal mute button is easy to reach the led light is nice to let you know if your muted or not.
Cons: The usb port broke it was made out of a cheap material the usb its self was too flexible, other wise the rest of the headset is pretty durable the cable is pretty thick and strong just be careful with the usb port.
Pros: Incredibly easy to use, just plug it in and go with it. The controls on the right ear are pretty cool too, makes the headset seem "futuristic" ooooo. The headset, after being adjusted appropriately is quite comfy. Great sound for the price spent, and great voice when using ventrillo. Very clean.
Cons: If you unplug the device while listening to things or watching a movie, I noticed I had to restart the application I was in and change the default audio settings. Because this is a USB headset it acts as another sound card, and you have to set it up appropriately. Kind of a pain at first, but it ...
