Summary: Very fragile, and the quality is only adequate. But 4 years for $15? It's tough to complain. The bang for the buck was fabulous.
Pros: I've had this headset for a few years now (going on 4, I think?) and it's still going. The audio's a little thin, but fine otherwise. The mic is of decent quality; voice is recorded loud and clear. The mute switch on the cord is very handy.
Cons: It's had exposed wires and little broken-off bits for a long time. This set is really fragile and will not last much abuse. It's very uncomfortable to wear, the padding on the ear pads is too thin and there is no padding on the head band, just plastic that will dig into your skin at some point. A...
Summary: I bought this headset because the pair I had broke after two years of abuse. It's "somewhat" comfortable to wear if you find the right adjustment. The disable mic switch really comes in handy if you need to quickly mute your mic to have a conversation with someone irl.
Pros: -Cheap -Works Well -Rotating boom is pretty nice
Cons: The "Noise canceling" technology might need some tweaking as people will be able to hear you pee if your bathroom is adjacent to your your computer room.
Summary: For the price paid, can't complain. Easily rivals headset that cost 2-3X moer.
Pros: Cheap Price, has all the functions one could ask for (Mute button, Volume Dial). Lightweight
Cons: wish the cord was 6-12" longer. The placement of the control dial in the middle also makes it feel slightly unwieldy, as it drags the cord down if left dangled free. Solved by placing the cord under my keyboard palm rest.
Summary: I took a chance with this refurb, and it turned out to be fine.
Pros: The sound quality is great, plus I sound very clear. I bought this for my VoIP phone, just needed something simple to plug into my laptop and it works great. The volume goes up quite loud, to no sound, there is a mute switch for the mic, it can adjust to a large head size, there is a long cord, a...
Cons: You can only move the mic up and down about 90 degrees, and the foam on the earphones could stand to be a little more plush.
Pros: For the price, they were well worth it. They work fine and look like new.
Cons: They look and feel a bit cheap, but they were cheap. We will see how long they last. Not the most comfortable headset I've worn, but I just need these for intermittent use so they will work fine for what I need. Still worth the amount I spent for them.
