great budget headset
Traci O., Newegg
20 February 2012
Summary: It appears the voice goes out of the right or left speaker after some use. This is NOT in the headphones, it is in the volume control. I was able to repair mine to perfect by taking the volume control apart (it pops apart after removing the clip screw) and spraying the volume gain with electrical...
Summary: It seems alot of people had the same errors I also had tried taping the mic closer to my mouthpiece only for it to break. Overall, its better off being a headset without a mic.
Pros: Nice sound Quality Cord is fairly long and has its own volume control
Cons: Breaks down easily I tried talking on vent and lowered the sensitivity on my mic as low as possible and everyone said they could barely hear me. The earpiece is a pain if you have a big head because its really tight. they barely lasted me a couple of months.
Summary: Thanks to warranty I kept getting a new set everytime one died. Get warranty!
Pros: It worked well while it lasted.
Cons: I've had 3-4 of these head phones over the past 2 years( I had warranty) and each time they would only last 2-5 months. They can get uncomfortable so you have to move them to the front a little bit so it dosen't crush your ears.
Summary: I can't say anything about the sound quality. I use a pair of Sennheisers for listening. The movable microphone design isn't durable. It started flaking out 5 months after the warranty expired. Other people reported that my voice was breaking up + static.
Pros: Recorded sound from the microphone is very good and the noise cancellation appears to work well. Other people always commented on the clarity of my speech.
Cons: Very uncomfortable design, to the point of being unwearable. The ear cushions aren't large enough to go over the ears so the whole thing has to sit on the ears. Unfortunately, the headband is way too small and inflexible so wearing it feels like putting your head and ears into a vice. As a point ...
Summary: Selling junk like this isn't good for logitech's brand image. I'm now very skeptical of logitech products after this experience. Fortunately for logitech we have customer review's, so I can still find a decent logitech product this way.
Pros: I borrowed this product from a friend. I tried using the microphone only without the headphones plugged in and it records much more clearly and with a higher volume this way.
Cons: This isn't the purpose for which people bought it so it is a very poor product and shouldn't even be sold.
