Excerpt: Logitech is surely a legend in the field of audio in my opinion. I have used both the stereo speaker system of them and also the headset . This headset is just perfect for internet telephony I think. Since you have to pay for internet telephony services to call usual phones from your computer, you will look for a product which will ensure the service quality for you. Logitech ClearChat headset is very ergonomic.
Good PC Headset w/some draw backs but I WOULD RECOMMEND IT
10 June 2013
Summary: I was really excited when I got these wireless pc headphones & mic, and for the most part they work great, but the draw back is that they need to be charged but after 1/2 day of use, I wear them all day at work so I have to be tethered to them late in the day which defeats the purpose, they have great and bad range, at times far away & I'm talking about 50 feet or in the restroom (farther) I still get good reception but at my desk closest to the wireless antenna it makes...
Summary: For at the computer work, listening to CDs while you use the computer, Skype calls, or gaming, this headset is great. In the past I tripped over, yanked the wires off, or destroyed, etc three wired headsets. Now, freedom from wires and superb audio quality! The two major down-sides are short distance, it loses signal at 30-40 ft and when the battery dies I have to wait for it to recharge.
Pros: Clear Signal, Comfortable, Easy To Use, Good Sound, Good Volume Control, Lightweight
Summary: Product had very easy set up, range is close to 30' in my location. Only con is I have yet to find out how to make this become default when it is turned on without going into my properties. Does not automatically override speakers with USB sound.
Pros: Clear Signal, Comfortable, Easy To Use, Good Sound, Lightweight
Summary: Excellent headset for gaming and is supported by Linux Ubuntu 10.4 out of the box.
Pros: As you can tell from the title, my primary concern was Linux support. Despite the overview neglecting to mention this I bought them. With Ubuntu 10.4 they were recognized the instant I plugged the transmitter in. You can between headphones/system from the Ubuntu sound control app. You can even have output to speakers and input from headphones. Headset has a volume control that, when you adjust, shows volume level on screen. The mic arm is malleable bends into place an...
Cons: weak bass compared to my Bose floor bass, battery life on headset could be better, my head must be large - I need to extend the headset to the max size and it -just- fits
Summary: This headset is awesome. Very comfortable. No problems installing the product. Only 2 minor setbacks. 1 - The range: The range doesn't let me get too far out of my house before connection issues start. 2 - The sound clarity: Now this may be just a setup issue or a driver issue, but the headset has some issues with relaying sound when playing any graphically intense game.
