Purchased in 2012. Still Working Well !!

HARLEY S., Newegg
25 March 2015
  • Pros: Works Well. Battery last a full day even under heavy use. Roughly Half a Block Range (if I leave my phone in the Car charging and Walk away from it). Phone call, Music, and other audio quality is great. And in all but extremely windy conditions the mic pics up very well also..
  • Cons: None

Almost Great

Jeremy K., Newegg
17 November 2014
  • Summary: All in all I've been using this for a year, I used a polymer based plastic coating to cover the exposed cables which did the trick.
  • Pros: Sound it good, rests comfortably on neck so much so I've forgot I've had it on. Distance is as good as I've seen on similar Bluetooth models at ver 3.0.
  • Cons: The plastic clips that hold the wire down are not very durable. The cables wear on the base where the collar rubs against them revealing the copper underneath. This is why I gave it a 3 not a 4 star rating.

Decent BT

Patrick K., Newegg
8 October 2014
  • Pros: Long battery life. I would use it all through a ten hour shift with bass boost on and it would just be getting to "Red" battery status. Good range. Comfortable. After having them in for a few minutes I forget they're there.
  • Cons: Sound quality is good, but bass is lacking. With bass boost on, some songs sounds messy and overblown cause I assume the phones are as robust as others. Sometimes the headset cuts out due to interference from some equipment I use. Guess it comes with the wireless territory.

  • Summary: I've experienced 4-5 dropped calls PER DAY since beginning use. I'll be taking it back this weekend and exchanging it for a different type of blue tooth.
  • Pros: easy to use and connect
  • Cons: frequently drops calls when connected to my iPhone

Didn't last as long as I hoped.

Donald B., Newegg
12 August 2014
  • Summary: Looks like I'll be buying a replacement soon. Or taking them apart and looking for some new replacement cells.
  • Pros: I purchased this because I do not like headphones that go over my ears and this looked to be a comfortable headset to wear around your neck. It did turn out to be just that. I thought I would like the earplug type speakers but found that with extended wearing of the (8-10 hours) that I would get ...
  • Cons: Battery longevity is not as good as I had hoped. When this was new I would easily get 10 hours of continuous streaming audio play time from iheart or pandora. Now after just over 8 months it is down to 6 hours. This is of course with an overnight charge to make sure the batteries are fully charged.

Broke after 4 months

Richard M., Newegg
29 July 2014
  • Summary: A few spares of the clips should be given. Some decent customer service would help as well. I think I might have to dump this now, given many of the folks claim LG/ Newegg did not bother to do anything about broken ones. $30 down the drain in just a few months!!!!
  • Pros: You don't realize its on after a while and very comfortable. Its good when it works.
  • Cons: The clips holding the wires broke off in a couple of weeks. The left side is not working anymore. I don't know what to do with this now!!! :(

Still Going Strong

Tim C., Newegg
11 June 2014
  • Summary: Battery life is excellent. They have more then 12 hours run time depending on how you use the trhoughout the day. I was able to watch 3 or 4 movies 2 hours a piece give or take straight through per charge before having to recharge.
  • Pros: This headset works really good. Sound quality isn't the greatest but they do sound really good depending on eq settings as well as the encode of the music. Call quality is OK on receiving end and they are pretty loud to boot.
  • Cons: Only con I find with these are the call quality on the out going end. They don't have noise suppression on them so no matter who I talk to on them (and that's everybody all the time), they a Rte always complaining that they hear all background noise. If I'm watching TV 8 feet from me I have to tu...

  • Summary: love the fact that these wrap around my neck rather then the back of my head. Control buttons are easy to navigate.
  • Pros: Bluetooth, phone support and quick buttons. Charging cable same as most new devices.

Beware of LG

timothy s., Newegg
26 April 2014
  • Summary: If you feel you have to buy LG (and i strongly advise you don't) make sure it's from an authorized seller Good luck though LG won't give you a list. I learned the hard way, I'm done with LG.
  • Pros: great when it worked
  • Cons: Only worked for three months. After three months would not turn on. sent in to lg for repair with invoice from Newegg, Came back untouched with "invalid pop received". It seems as others have pointed out that newegg.com is not an authorized retailer. LG is more than happy to let you buy their pro...
