"Works great! Much better than my previous set."

24 May 2011
  • Pros: Audio quality is GREAT. Worked great with my iPhone when I had one, works great now with my Droid X and MBP. Battery life is phenomenal: both the iPhone and Droid die long before it does. Comfortable and unobtrusive on my ears, while still secure.
  • Cons: Couldn't control iPhone playback from it and Droid X doesn't send tones through it (phone end issues, I think). Giant external button gets pressed easily and can produce annoying results: redialed people a lot on iPhone. Can't use while charging.

"Breaks quickly - no manufacturer warranty"

verkert, CNET
19 May 2010
  • Pros: Easy syncing, fair sound quality
  • Cons: after 3 months of use, the flimsy plastic earpiece broke. The manufacturer blames the user for breaking the earpiece when putting it over their ear. Don't expect the manufacturer to honor the warranty.

31 March 2010
  • Pros: portability, both secure on your ears and comfortable, not ugly, functionality is good
  • Cons: setup can be a bit tricky (perhaps for some), small buttons (not that big of a deal), sound quality is awful.

"Earpiece broke after 3 months of light use."

jfilliez, CNET
8 January 2010
  • Pros: Reasonable Bluetooth reception
  • Cons: Poor quality - Earpiece broke in half after 3 months of very light use. Sent it back to LG for warranty which they refused claiming customer abuse. The thing just fell apart in my hand. Will think long and hard about buying anything again from LG.

"Surprisingly comfortable. Quality audio. Small controls"

kts911, CNET
28 November 2009
  • Pros: Excellent range. Good sound quality. Comfortable, even on my big ears. People on the other end of a phone call report that it sounds as good as when I'm on the phone. Very easy to use call button. Intuitive button layout. Built in EQ.
  • Cons: Tiny buttons. Slightly hollow sounding. Some distortion. Sound cuts out every time it wants to make a noise (like the low battery indicator)

"Headset works great at a reasonable price."

gofstbuick, CNET
10 September 2009
  • Pros: Pairs easily with my sony w350. Very light and comfortable to wear. Music quality is very good. I like the equalizer feature. Has similar features to the HBS-200 without the breakage issues
  • Cons: Probably not for those with big ears. A little difficult to meneuver around the ears, placing the wires behind the head.
